| Primary school English teaching,with its wide coverage and deep influence on students’ future English learning,has become a key link of the whole English teaching,in which oral English plays a very important role.However,due to classroom teaching time and class capacity,and the current situation of the unitary teaching method seriously affect the students’ oral performance.In recent years,information technology has increasingly entered the reform of basic education,and mobile terminal equipment has gradually entered classroom teaching,and has been favored by Chinese language teachers.In view of this,according to the requirements of the New English Curriculum Standard for 2017 edition,this research uses Input &Output Theory and Filtering Theory to develop the application of information technology-based English "Fun Dubbing" APP to the teaching method of oral English in primary schools.Through detailed oral English teaching cases,the author tries to provide more teaching methods to help students create situations,stimulate interest,and improve students’ pronunciation and intonation.Therefore,three research questions are put forward as follows:1.Are there any problems in students’ oral presentation in primary school ? What are they?2.Does the application of the “Fun Dubbing” APP in oral English teaching have an effect on improving primary school students’ English speaking ?3.Does the application of the “Fun Dubbing” APP in oral English teaching have an effect on arousing primary school students’ English speaking interest ?From September 2020 to December 2020,with 54 students in Grade 6 in primary school as the participants,the author conducted a 16-week teaching practice.In the first week of the practice,the author used questionnaire and interviews to understand the current situation of primary school students’ oral English.At the same time,the "Fun Dubbing" APP scoring system was carried out as the pretest of the test.After that,the author applied the "Fun Dubbing " APP to carry out teaching practice in the classroom and after class.Finally,the author analyzed the data based on the test and interview results.The conclusion of this paper proves that the application of English “Fun Dubbing”APP in primary oral English teaching can enhance students ’interest in oral English learning and improve students’ oral English ability.Of course,this research also has some limitations.For example,the research time is relatively short and the source of students participating in teaching practice is relatively single.I hope it could be improved in future research. |
