Research On Wang Shenglie’s Realistic Painting Of Figure

Wang Shenglie is the founder of Kanto Painting School.His figure paintings have distinct artistic characteristics It has an important influence on the development of figure painting in the Kanto region.His painting of the subject matter content and forms of creative aspects,to lay the foundation for the development of painting portraits of Kanto.This thesis takes the content and form of Wang Shenglie’s figure painting as the main research object,and explores the characteristics and achievements of his realistic figure painting.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter,combined with his own time environment and experience of studying in Japan,as well as the influence of external cultural and artistic ideas and friends,expounds the reasons for the formation of Wang Shenglie’s realistic figure painting.In the second chapter,according to the object of his creation in different periods,his realistic figure paintings are summarized as two major themes of war and peace.Through the content creation of revolutionary soldiers,invaders,workers,peasants and children,the author focuses on the thoughts and feelings of other people’s paintings.The third chapter focuses on the artistic creation of Wang Shenglie’s figure painting,combing and studying Wang Shenglie’s application of Chinese traditional character brush ink technique and the integration of western elements.The fourth chapter mainly expounds the influence of Wang Shenglie’s realistic figure painting on later generations,This paper focuses on his influence on the Kanto Painting school,Secondly,it discusses his influence on figure painting in the western region,mainly represented by Zhao Huasheng and Li Baofeng.
