As an important course type for Chinese learners to transition from primary to advanced,intermediate comprehensive course plays an important role in the course of Chinese as a foreign language.Affected by the epidemic,Chinese teaching in domestic colleges and universities has been forced to transfer from offline to online.The author entered the School of International Sinology of Henan University in September 2020 for a six-month online teaching practice.In view of this,this paper takes the online teaching of Henan University as the background,takes the foreign students of Class 3 of Grade 2018 as the teaching object,and takes the fifth lesson of Volume 3(1)of the Chinese course as an example,combined with the teaching practice.this paper discusses how to better combine Chinese teaching with online teaching,in order to provide reference for the online teaching practice of intermediate Chinese comprehensive courses.The online instructional design of "TALK ABOUT IT LATER" consists of six parts,which are as follows:Chapter one: introduction.It mainly includes the reason and significance of this topic,research status and research methods.Chapter two: theoretical basis,principles and strategies.The theoretical basis includes constructivist learning theory,humanistic learning theory and cognitive learning theory;teaching principles include the principle of intensive speaking and more practice,the principle of intuition,the principle of communication,the principle of systematicness and the principle of interaction;teaching strategies include language element teaching strategies,speech skills training strategies and others.Chapter three: front-end analysis.It mainly includes the analysis of teaching environment,the analysis of teaching objects,the analysis of teaching materials and the analysis of class type.Chapter four: "TALK ABOUT IT LATER" teaching design.It includes two parts: teaching design plan and teaching process,in which teaching design plan includes teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching difficulties,teaching methods,class arrangement and teaching aids preparation.Chapter five: teaching evaluation,reflection and suggestions.After completing the teaching task according to the teaching design,this paper evaluates from two aspects of teaching effect and learning effect,and puts forward reflections and suggestions from three aspects: classroom management,classroom teaching and students’ learning,in order to achieve good teaching effect in the future teaching.
