| The teaching of antonyms is an important part of vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and it is also an important and difficult point for foreign students to learn Chinese."Sheng" and "Si" are a pair of common antonyms in Chinese,because there are many items of the two,which show a complex relationship in use between symmetry and asymmetry.Foreign students often emerge various errors when acquiring the antonym.Therefore,the paper starts from the synchronic level,and analyzes the symmetry of "Sheng" and "Si" from three aspects of meaning,word formation and syntax,then we analyze and summarizes the errors that foreign students often encounter based on corpus.Finally,we puts forward the relevant strategies for the teaching of antonyms of"Sheng" and "Si" as a foreign language and the whole teaching of monosyllabic antonyms,which provides a reference for the teaching of antonyms in Chinese as a foreign language.The paper is organized as the following five parts:The first part is the introduction,explaining the reasons for selecting the topic and the research significance of this content,and then combing the relevant research status from three aspects:research on Symmetry of antonyms,the study of antonyms in Chinese as a foreign language,and the research related to "Sheng" and "Si".Finally,the research methods and corpus sources used in the article are also explained.In the second part,we analyzes the symmetry and asymmetry of the antonyms"Sheng" and "Si" one by one from several specific aspects of meaning,word formation and syntax.Based on the HSK dynamic composition corpus,the third part summarizes and analyzes the errors and reasons of foreign students’ use of "Sheng" and "Si" when they are independently formed into words or as a morpheme.In the fourth part,we proposes some teaching strategies for "Sheng" and "Si" in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from four aspects:teachers,teaching materials,teaching methods and learners,and analogy to the teaching of monosyllabic antonyms as a foreign language.The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarize and reflect on the full text. |
