The teaching of Chinese antonyms has always been the focus in teaching Chinese vocabulary to foreigners,and foreign students often make various errors in the acquisition and use of Chinese antonyms.Through literature reading and teaching observation,it is found that the main reason for the errors in the acquisition of Chinese antonyms by foreign students is the "symmetry-asymmetry" of Chinese antonyms.In response to this phenomenon,first of all,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the mastery of Chinese antonyms by foreign students.The analysis of the questionnaire showed that 81.35% of the errors in the acquisition and use of Chinese antonyms by foreign students are due to the characteristics of Chinese antonyms "symmetric-asymmetry" Cause.The errors caused by this linguistic phenomenon mainly include four types: new words,mispronouncements,mixed use and mismatch.Secondly,combining the ontology knowledge of Chinese antonyms,the reasons for the errors from the perspective of "symmetry-asymmetry" mainly include the asymmetry of word formation ability of Chinese antonyms,symmetric color meanings of Chinese antonyms,asymmetry of Chinese antonym meaning items and mismatching of Chinese antonyms symmetry.Finally,according to the reasons for the errors,the teaching countermeasures for the antonyms of Chinese as a foreign language under "symmetry-asymmetry" are proposed.They are to display Chinese antonyms in pairs,set different contexts for different meaning items,and set up cultural activities in the classroom.And infiltrating grammatical rhetoric and other teaching strategies;at the same time,it also proposed that foreign students should reasonably apply symmetrical analogy strategies,pay attention to the cultivation of Chinese thinking and actively participate in social and cultural activities when they learn Chinese antonyms.The aim is to apply the theoretical research results of Chinese antonyms to the specific teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,to give first-line teachers inspiration,and thus to improve the teaching efficiency of teaching Chinese antonyms as a foreign language.
