Asymmetry Between "Shang" "Xia" And Teaching Chinese As Foreign Language

Antonyms in modern Chinese teaching is an important part of vocabulary teaching in Teaching Chinese as a foreign Language,while the asymmetric distribution of antonyms brought students of Chinese learning a variety of problems "?" and "?" is a pair of antonyms which is commonly used in modern Chinese,and also a pair of antonym which will be early contacted and should be grasped well for non-native Chinese learners when they learn Chinese.The author do believe that "?" and "?" are free morpheme,at the same time,they can alsobe used as the words.The asymmetry of "?" and "?" at the lexical level embodies in its part of speech and meaning.In this paper,it will be analyzed in 3 structures,and they will be compared with each other,then the differences between "?" and "?" will be found.It may contribute to the vocabulary of antonyms in teaching Chinese as foreign language.In this paper,there are following five parts:The first part is about the meaning and content of this paper.The way of studying will be introduced in this paper,too.The second part of this paper is about analyzing of "?" and "?" in the following 3 structures:noun+"?" and "?";"?" and "?"+noun;verb+"?" and "?".The analysis will be distributed in the meaning and the differences among the words.The third part is a survey for "?" and "?" in the text books,the appearance rate of the words,and the character of the words in the books are the important things in this part.The fourth part is about a survey for the students who learns Chinese as a foreign language.This aimed to find out the needs of the students learning and the characters of their work.And then some suggestions for the teaching will be posted in the paper.The fifth part is about some suggestions to the words in teaching Chinese as foreign language.The last part is the conclusion part.It will conclude the effort of this paper and the shortcomings of this paper.
