| The China Cultural Center is one of the main institutions to promote Chinese culture around the world,and it also acts as a window and platform to countries all over the world to better understand Chinese culture and traditions.It is undeniably true that the cultural communications of China Cultural Center Mauritius is important reference value for the accurate formulation of cultural development strategy.Since 2010,the friendship between China and Mauritius has entered a new stage,the cultural exchanges have become increasingly close,and the demand for learning Mandarin and Chinese culture is increasing.The spread of Chinese cultural activities contributed in Mauritius’ history.From September 2019 to October 2020,the author volunteered as a Chinese teacher in the Chinese Culture Center of Mauritius;teaching chinese and participating in cultural communication activities.A questionnaire interview has been conducted among the participants,this survey analyzes the cultural communication activities and exposes the effects produced by the Chinese Cultural Center of Mauritius from year 2010 to year2020.The aim of this survey is mainly understand about the positive experiences of participants,the flaws in the cultural activities held by the above mentioned institution,and to reflect the participants’ opinions and suggestions to help in improving the work done by the institution.The questionnaire consists of five parts.The first part is an introduction,stating the reason of this paper,the research status of related issues and research methods;the second part is the analysis of the cultural communication activities of the Chinese cultural center in Mauritius,which gives a brief introduction to the Chinese cultural center in Mauritius,analyzes the contents and forms of the cultural activities of the center in recent 10 years,and expounds the characteristics of the center Finally,the paper compares the cultural communication activities of the Chinese cultural center with those of the Confucius Institute of the University of Mauritius,and points out the similarities and differences between the two in disseminators,audiences,modes and contents.The third part is a questionnaire survey on the cultural communication of the Chinese cultural center in Mauritius,which is designed and implemented for all aspects of cultural communication Questionnaire and statistical analysis,including disseminator,audience,mode,content,effect,etc.;the fourth part,according to the survey results,summarizes the problems existing in the teaching staff,audience,mode and content of cultural communication activities in the cultural center,and puts forward corresponding improvement suggestions according to the problems and current situation,so as to establish a high-quality culture center The last part is the conclusion.This study is the first time to investigate the cultural communication situation of the Chinese cultural center in Mauritius,hoping to provide reference for improving the cultural communication work of the cultural center and further promote the sustainable development of the cultural communication work of the cultural center. |
