With the continuous improvement of China's comprehensive national strength,China's status in the international community is getting higher and higher,and the its national influence has also been continuously enhanced.In recent years,in order to coordinate with the development of China's cultural "going global" strategy,the overseas China cultural center,an overseas position of Chinese cultural propaganda,is speeding up its establishment in many countries around the world as an important platform to enhance China's cultural soft power and influence.In recent years,the role of China cultural center has become more and more familiar to people at home and abroad,due to the great influence of brand cultural events such as "Happy Spring Festival" and "China tourism culture week".Teaching and training is one of the four functions of the cultural center,and Chinese training is the most basic and important part.The China cultural center in Mauritius,as the first overseas China cultural center in China,has accumulated certain experience for reference in the overseas Chinese teaching,Chinese language promotion and Chinese culture promotion,but there are also some shortcomings.These experiences and deficiencies are of significance to the development of Chinese international education,but the research about this has not been fully carried out.In view of the above situation,this paper is based on previous studies and field survey.Firstly,the research conducts a questionnaire survey among Chinese teachers and students of the China cultural center in Mauritius to know the Chinese teaching situation.According to the statistics and analysis of the survey,combined with my teaching experience,summarize the characteristics and problems of Chinese teaching in China cultural center in Mauritius,and put forward the corresponding feasible solution strategy.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the purpose and significance of the research,introduces the research ideas and methods of this paper,summarizes the research situation of this topic.The second part summarizes the history and development of Chinese teaching in Mauritius,and expounds the establishment background and operation status of China cultural center in Mauritius.In the third part,in order to understand the Chinese teaching in China cultural center in Mauritius,targeted design and implementation of the questionnaireand statistical analysis,including the situation of Chinese learners,teachers,curriculum settings and class materials,the use of teaching materials,teaching methods and classroom teaching.The fourth part,based on the survey results,summarizes the problems in Chinese teaching and training in China cultural center in Mauritius,in terms of teachers quality,textbooks,courses and classroom teaching.The fifth part,according to the problems and the current situation,puts forward the corresponding feasible improvement suggestions for the development of Chinese teaching in the cultural center,establish a stable teaching staff,select the teaching materials flexibly,improve the curriculum system,optimize the class,attach importance to the needs of students,teach students according to their talents,make use of the resource advantages,and strengthen cooperation.This study will be the first systematic and in-depth research on Chinese teaching in China cultural center in Mauritius.Hoping this thesis can provide a reference for improving and promoting the Chinese teaching in China cultural center in Mauritius.and to further advance the sustainable development of Chinese teaching in China cultural center in Mauritius.
