| As an important part of traditional culture,Chinese traditional festivals do not do well in the external communication.Excellent Traditional Chinese festival culture is the essence of Chinese culture,is an important carrier of cultural transmission and inheritance,contains important cultural connotation.For learners,learning Chinese is not only about language learning,but also about culture.Cultural teaching is an indispensable and important part of Chinese teaching,which is always complementary to language teaching.Chinese traditional festival culture teaching Chinese as a foreign language has achieved certain results,and also has certain results in the external communication.A few traditional festival culture elements have been deeply rooted in the daily life of students studying abroad.Based on the literature research and teaching practice,the theory of cultural cognition and the basis of culturology,this paper adopts the research methods of questionnaire survey and interview,investigates seven universities in Xi’an,and sends out 200 questionnaires to foreign students from different countries to investigate the cultural cognition of Chinese traditional festivals.From the breadth and depth of cultural cognition,cognitive approach and cultural teaching three aspects are analyzed,and accordingly put forward problems and explore the causes,and finally give targeted suggestions.The results show that some college students in Xi’an have relatively high awareness of the four traditional festivals in China,while the awareness of other traditional festivals needs to be improved.It is necessary to enhance students’ interest in learning traditional festival culture,find effective ways of cultural cognition,and enhance traditional festival culture teaching,so as to improve students’ awareness of Chinese traditional festival culture,promote the spread of Chinese traditional festival culture and better carry out cultural teaching. |
