A Study On The Strategies Of Ideological And Political Education In English Courses Of Junior Middle Schools In Villages And Towns

The state emphasizes that we should attach great importance to the ideological and political construction of the curriculum and put the core values of Chinese socialism throughout the national education.However,in English teaching of township junior high schools,the traditional emphasis on knowledge teaching still exists,which is contrary to the original intention of teaching and educating people.Curriculum ideological and political education is a brand-new curriculum concept,which is the harmonious unity of cultivating people’s knowledge and personality,the key link of cultivating people by virtue,and the inevitable choice of realizing all-round education in the whole processIn this paper,the current research situation of curriculum ideological and political education at home and abroad is sorted out by literature review,and the existing problems are summarized as follows:(1)The scope of research.Most of the existing studies focus on higher education,and the research on basic education is few,especially the lack of attention to the reform and construction of English curriculum ideological and political education in township junior high schools.(2)From the perspective of concern.The existing researches have focused on solving specific problems,stressing the scheme of ideological and political practice in English curriculum,but lacked a complete set of integrated ideological and political system of junior high school English curriculum,which integrates curriculum elements,principles and strategies of ideological and political implementation.Based on the above problems,this study has made a new exploration in selecting objects and overall planning.Firstly the concepts and theories related to ideological and political education in junior high school English curriculum are interpreted and defined and the principles of implementing ideological and political education in English curriculum are expounded and the elements of ideological and political education in junior high school English textbooks are analyzed.Secondly through on-the-spot questionnaire survey and interviews with teachers and students in a township junior high school of Han Zhong city,in this paper,the author analyzes their understanding and value judgment of English curriculum ideological and political education from two angles of teachers and students,understands the implementation situation of English curriculum ideological and political education in township junior high schools,carries out quantitative analysis according to the data results,summarizes the outstanding problems and cause analysis of the data,and sums up effective measures for integrating ideological and political education in township junior high school English curriculum from multiple dimensions such as innovative thinking,relying on teaching materials,applying technology,combining practice and perfecting evaluation standards and give a section of ideological and political education in English curriculum in township junior high schools.By analyzing the ideological and political elements in English textbooks,and combining the principles of implementing ideological and political education in English courses and the strategies of implementing ideological and political education in township English courses,this paper presents a complete case design idea of ideological and political education in junior high school English courses.To a certain extent,it can help township teachers to establish the concept of curriculum education,innovate the concept of professional courses and education,and give full play to the humanistic education function of English subjects.
