According to Jean Piaget,children’s cognition is a process of continuous construction from low level to high level through assimilation,adaptation and balance on the basis of existing diagrams.The role of art in promoting children’s cognitive development is recognized in the United States national art standards.Reading is a channel to acquire knowledge and experience.As students read picture books,they will better integrate into the world around them with the increase of knowledge and experience.The story narrative of children’s picture books as a basic way of expression to children,through interesting picture content,simple text interpretation,vivid characters,interesting stories to children showed various events related to their daily life,the process of the expression,plus the children active reading and learning,can help to promote their understanding of the social environment.Therefore,picture-free books have gradually become a unique genre in the literary world.The unique feature of picture-free books is that their content must be conveyed completely through pictures,and children can read them independently without the restriction of words.Reading picture-free books can improve children’s way of thinking and cognition as well as their sensitivity to pictures.Excellent picture-free books can enable children to imperceptibly absorb and digest story content while improving aesthetics.However,there is a lack of understanding of children in some picture books on the market.The monotonous shapes,plots and contents are difficult to stimulate children’s interest in reading,and there is a lack of positive guidance and education for children.This article from the perspective of children’s reading,the combination of Jean Piaget theory of children’s cognitive,scientific study of children’s picture books of no word in the reading characteristics of image elements and narrative elements,and an analysis of the situation without any word picture books,word picture books of the existing problems,according to the end,starting from the characteristics of children’s reading without word picture books,in stages to no words of picture books,form the theme of the language,function demand three aspects carries on the analysis,and optimization Suggestions are put forward.Research shows that picture-free books are more suitable for children to read than picture-free books,and picture-free books are a good medium to promote the improvement of children’s knowledge ability and the cultivation of their psychological and emotional abilities in early childhood.In children’s reading or teachers,parents in the teaching process to help children to improve their own ability. |
