As a part of the course of Chinese culture,the course of Chinese arts for foreigners has always been of special significance.Culture can be abstract,or it can be expressed through concrete objects.Thus,TCFL Chinese arts teachers have to think about how to make Chinese arts,the tangible bridge between Chinese and foreign friends,play its greatest value.This thesis mainly combines the author’s own teaching practice of Chinese arts in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and comprehensively uses the literature analysis method,observation method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to analyze of the questionnaire results,design the teaching plan of “calligraphy,sealing,painting” and practise the teaching for Korean students.Under the guidance of teaching design,the teaching concept of“calligraphy,sealing,painting” as one is put into practice.In detail,the thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter “introduction” : it mainly introduces the research background,and the way to research under the situation that more effort should be put into the teaching of Chinese calligraphy as a foreign language,Chinese seal cutting teaching research and Chinese painting teaching research materials.The second chapter is “investigation and analysis of Chinese arts practice in TCFL:based on the close relationship between the survey results of overseas students’ arts interest and “calligraphy,sealing,painting”,and the teaching ability of teachers,the author puts forward the cultural experience curriculum of“calligraphy,sealing,painting”.The third chapter is “the research of teaching design and practice of teaching Chinese calligraphy for foreigners” : the teaching design and practice of Chinese calligraphy for foreigners are carried out,and the teaching effect is tested according to the teaching results.While affirming the teaching achievements,the author also reflects on the deficiencies in the teaching process.The fourth chapter is “the teaching design and practice research ofChinese seal cutting for foreign students” : the teaching design and practice of Chinese seal cutting for foreign students are carried out,according to the teaching outcome,the author affirms the teaching results while reflects on the deficiencies in the teaching process.The fifth chapter is “the teaching design and practice research of Chinese painting for foreigners” : the teaching design and practice of Chinese painting for foreigners are carried out,and the teaching effect is tested according to the teaching results.While affirming the teaching achievement,the author reflects on the insufficiency in the teaching process.The “conclusion” part of the paper summarizes the main points above and points out the innovation and shortcomings of the paper.
