Effect And Enlightenment Of Calligraphy And Seal Cutting On Chinese Characters Typography Design

The Chinese character is the spiritual bond to maintain and develop the Chinese nation, which is an important information medium of national culture dissemination and exchange. The typography design is to show Chinese characters in a more comfortable way with more rich connotation of visual experience, thus making the characters more volatile under the background of the new era. Meanwhile,typography design is an important basic subject, which has important significance to the development and construction of the whole design discipline. However, the development and use of Chinese characters are mainly concentrated in the culture of the Chinese nation gathered place. Therefore, it is necessary to further expand the Chinese character typeface design form and cultural connotation based on research and development of Chinese characters font design and the traditional culture of inheriting and developing the excellent traditional culture. Based on the traditional calligraphy and seal cutting art, this article studies and explores traditional culture’s reference and enlightenment from Chinese characters typography design. It attempts to inspire the Chinese character typeface design theories and techniques by calligraphy and seal cutting art. From the two perspective of the art of calligraphy and seal cutting art, this article separately analyzes traditional calligraphy stippling form,word node body and calligraphy chapter so as to constitute the way with Chinese characters font pen shaped design, typography design and layout of Chinese characters design examples of comparative analysis for finding the mutual contact;From the perspective of the art of seal cutting, it has profound significance for reference and enlightenment carving art interpretation of the composition, Zhu Baiwen carving and xiaoxing seal cutting of Chinese characters typography design space layout, Chinese characters at the bottom of the figure and positive shape design and font design graphical. Generally speaking, with the development of era and environment design, designers should have a controlling ability on the structure ofChinese characters and the order. Moreover, we should also explore the semantic culture connotation from the ontology of Chinese characters; From the visual aspect of the aesthetic need and the deep cultural perception, we should also give the Chinese character typeface design of "form" and "quality" with the same significance.
