Cooperative teaching is the need of social development,it provides students with high-quality learning opportunities,so that students can possess a sincere,understanding,inclusive,open heart to go together.What’s more,it can have mutual listening,mutual cooperation,mutual learning and common development.Implementing group cooperative learning in primary school English class can provide more time and opportunities for each student to speak and use English,which can stimulate students’ interest in learning English,promotes communication and interaction within students,between teachers and students.Besides,it might as well improve students’ interpersonal communication ability,and balance themselves in resource sharing.The development and cultivation of their team spirit,not only can enhance students’ ability to learn English,but also improve the effectiveness and efficiency of English classroom teaching,which can also bring convenience for their future study,life and work.This paper mainly explores the problems and countermeasures of primary school English cooperative teaching from four aspects: Literature method,Questionnaire survey method and Interview method.The first part of the introduction discusses the background,purpose and significance of this study which is mainly through the search,reading and collation of relevant literature.The second part investigates and analyzes the current situation of primary school English cooperative teaching from four aspects.The third part analyzes the existing problems and causes of primary school English cooperative teaching.The existing problems are lack of value of cooperative teaching content,serious formalization of cooperative teaching,insufficient participation in cooperative teaching and imperfect evaluation system of cooperative teaching.The concrete reasons are uneven professional level of teachers,insufficient grasp of the essence of cooperative teaching,lack of classroom practice time and unified evaluation standards.The fourth part puts forward some strategies to improve the cooperative teaching of English in primary schools as follows: scientific cooperative group,elaborate design of cooperative learning tasks,good use of listening and expression,scientific guidance of cooperative teaching and improvement of evaluation mechanism. |
