As an enlightenment stage of primary school students’ English language ability,the primary school stage should aim at improving students’ dialogue ability,actively reform dialogue courses,innovate teaching models and teaching methods,and let students love English and actively practice English.The cooperative learning method is an effective learning method to mobilize students’ initiative.Through cooperation,the "sight","listening" and "speaking" in English are integrated together.On the basis of improving students’ English conversation ability,it also effectively improves students Cooperation ability.In this study,two classes in the fourth grade of Weigang Primary School in Hefei City were used as the research object,using the literature method,experimental method,mathematical statistics method,and logical analysis method.The cooperative learning method was used in the teaching of English conversation in primary schools to test cooperative learning.The method has a positive impact on the English conversation ability,innovation ability and comprehensive quality of primary school students.It explores new teaching methods for primary school English conversation classes and provides references and suggestions for improving the teaching quality of primary school English conversation classes.The results show that the cooperative learning method effectively improves the English conversation ability,innovation ability and comprehensive quality of the pupils.
