The communication network technology is developing rapidly,which is accelerating the alteration of human production and life and bringing many benefits to the society.From personal communication services,commerce and economy to medical care,distance education services,disaster management,security services and national defense,all applications related to communication network technology are becoming more and more popular.In the 21st century,the development of globalization makes all countries in the world closely linked together,and the exchanges and communications between countries are increasingly extended.At the same time,with the continuous progress of science and technology,various scientific and technological products have emerged greatly.In this new scientific and technological background,translation can break through the barriers between languages and make full use of international resources to promote the development of science and technology in China.Therefore,the translator takes all efforts to find translation skills and strategies suitable for such texts,which provide reference for future researchers.This translation report selects Chapter 6 from a book Cognitive Radio,Mobile Communications and Wireless Networks as the research material for translation.The sixth chapter mainly introduces the application of wearable technology and cognitive radio technology in medical care.Based on Skopos Theory,this translation report analyzes the lexical level and syntactic level in the aspects of Skopos rules,coherence rules and fidelity rules.Combining with the problems encountered by the translator in the process of translation practice,the report puts forward corresponding solutions and sums up the basic translation process of scientific and technological texts.This translation report mainly consists of four parts:task description,translation process,case analysis and practice summary.The first part mainly introduces the background and characteristics of source text and the purpose and significance of the task.The second part introduces the task preparation stage,translation process and quality control.The third part analyzes translation cases in two aspects:lexical level and syntactic level.The last part summarizes the problems encountered in the translation process and puts forward suggestions for translators who deal with such texts in the future.
