The Cultural Inheritance Of Tujia Nationality Under The Threshold Of Cultural Space

The culture of Tima is an important part of the folk beliefs of Tujia Minority.It is a collection of Tujia people’s history,religion,literature,music,dance,medicine and other cultural factors,which,during the long historical development,has accumulated Tujia people’s spiritual beliefs,social ideology and producing and living style.This paper takes the Tujia Tima Culture in the Youshui Valley of Xiangxi as research object.The investigation center is Shuangping Village,where the Tima Culture is more typical than that of other Tujia areas.It mainly uses the theory of cultural space to reflect on the protection and inheritance of the Tima Culture,and offers some possible solutions to the existing problems.The thesis contains five chapters.The first chapter is the definition of the Tima Culture and its basic description.The second chapter mainly decodes the forming reasons of the Tujia Tima by looking into the related theories and research achievements of cultural space,and also seeks to get a macroscopic grasp of its cultural space by analyzing the composition and characteristics.The third chapter mainly introduces the situation of the investigated area and the present status and the inheritance of the Tima culture in Shuangping Village.The forth chapter mainly discusses the exiting problems that the Tima Culture is exposed to and the forming reasons of these problems by referring to the composition and characteristics of its cultural space.The fifth chapter puts forward the possible suggestions on the protection of the Tima Culture based on its the cultural space elements.This article studies the Tujia Tima through the perspective of cultural space theory,thinking that there are many small cultural events in the Tima Culture Collection.In the protecting practice,we must grasp the principle of integrity and liveliness.In the current background of ethnic cultures integrated into the tourism industry,the Tima Culture has been continuously developing and re-constructed due to constant attention and multidimensional construction.The elements of the cultural space of Tima contains main body,core symbols,core values,signs,collectivememory and historical memory.The current living environment of the Tima Culture is not optimistic.It is necessary to reflect on the protection methods against the current difficulties,and inevitable to adopt the integrity protection principle of the cultural space and new technology.
