Objective:Traditional chemotherapy has achieved some success in prolonging the survival period of patients,as an emerging treatment method, targeted therapy has also achieved certain achievements. The purpose of this study is to compare the therapeutic effects of targeted therapy and traditional chemotherapy on postoperative colorectal cancer patients. Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 31 patients with colorectal cancer treated by surgery from January 2017 to January 2020 in the First Hospital of Jilin University.A group of 21 patients underwent conventional chemotherapy after operation, the other group of ten patients were treated with targeted therapy. The detection results of CEA,AFP,CA199,NLR and PLR in plasma of the two groups were collected before surgery,5 months after surgery and 1 year after surgery,R4.0.2 version was used for statistical analysis of each indicator level and postoperative pathological characteristics of colorectal cancer group, and comparison of treatment effects.Results:1.There were no statistically significant differences between the traditional chemotherapy group and the targeted therapy group in gender, age, location of bowel cancer, pathology, recurrence and death at 1-year follow-up,AFP,CA199,NLR and PLR(all P> 0.05).There were statistically significant differences in CEA levels, tumor stage, pathology and admission(all<0.05).2.At the 5th month and 1st year,CEA in the targeted therapy group was higher than that in the adjuvant chemotherapy group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).AFP,CA199,NLR and PLR showed no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Comparison with preoperative indicators showed that only tumor marker CA199 showed statistically significant difference between the two groups 5months after treatment(P<0.05),but there were no statistically significant differences in tumor markers between the two groups at 1 year(P>0.05).4.The ratio of the number of changes in each indicator between the two groups at 5 months and 1 year compared with that before surgery. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the proportion of CEA,AFP,CA199,NLR and PLR increased or decreased between the two groups no matter at 5 months or 1 year(all P>0.05).5.In the adjuvant chemotherapy group,5 patients(23.8%)relapsed and 1patient(4.8%)died at 1-year follow-up.One person(10%)in the targeted therapy group relapsed and no one died.Conclusions:1.Compared with traditional chemotherapy, targeted therapy has lower recurrence rate and mortality, which may not be statistically significant considering the small sample size.2.The CEA value may be correlated with the stage of colorectal cancer. The higher the CEA value is,the later the stage of colorectal cancer is.3.The short-term therapeutic effect of targeted therapy group was significantly better than that of traditional chemotherapy group, while the long-term effect was not obvious, which was considered to be related to the small sample size.
