Clinical Observation Of Yunpi Huatan Decoction In The Treatment Of Children’s Tic Disorder (Syndrome Of Spleen Deficiency And Phlegm Accumulation)

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Yunpi Huatan Decoction in the treatment of children with tic disorder(spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation syndrome),to lay the foundation for clinical research and explore new therapeutic drugs.Methods:64 children with this tic disorder were taken as clinical observation objects.They were divided into experimental and control groups by random number table method.There were 32 cases in the experimental group,2 cases were excluded(not taking medication according to the course of treatment).In the control group,there were 32 patients,2 patients dropped out(with additional drugs),and the actual number of patients in the two groups was 30.Therefore,a total of 60 children were statistically analyzed.The experimental group was given Yunpi Huatan Decoction,and the control group was given Shiwei Wendan Decoction for 8 weeks.The improvement of YGTSS points and TCMSSS before and after treatment was observed,and the adverse reactions were observed.The course of treatment ended 4 follow-up weeks later.Results:According to the results of the established curative effect standard,the total effective rate is:93.33% in the test group and 90.00% in the control group.After testing,it is statistically significant(P<0.05);in terms of YGTSS points:both exercise and vocal tics in the test group Lower than the control group,both have significant differences(all P<0.05);in terms of total TCMSSS:the test group is lower than the control group,with significant differences(P<0.05);minor symptom scores:test there were significant differences between the group and the control group in the forgetfulness,chlorosis,and loose stool groups(all P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the loss of appetite,drowsiness,and sleepiness groups(all P>0.05).There were no adverse reactions during the treatment.The total recurrence rate of follow-up 4 weeks after the end of treatment:10.00% in the test group and 16.67% in the control group.Conclusion:Yunpi Huatan Decoction is effective in treating children’s tic disorder(spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation syndrome).It is better than Shiwei Wendan Decoction in improving motor tics,vocal tics,memory,complexion and stool.It can improve appetite and mental state.It has the same curative effect as Shiwei Wendan Decoction,and has no adverse reactions in the study.It has high safety and low recurrence rate,it can provide new ideas and methods in clinical application.
