Clinical Observation Of Sijun Wendan Decoction To Treat Children's Tic Disorder With Spleen Deficiency And Phlegm Accumulation

Objective: Observing the clinical effect of Si Jun Wen Dan Decoction in the treatment of children's tic disorder with spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation.Methods: 62 children who had tic disorder with spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation were included according to the diagnostic criteria,and were randomly divided into test group and control group,31 cases in each group.Si Jun Wen Dan Decoction was given to the test group,and the control group was treated with Tiapride Hydrochloride.Both courses of treatment were 8 weeks,and the tic score,children's TCM symptom score were observed before and afer treatment.Results:1.There were no statistical differences(P>0.05)between the two of patients in terms of gender,age,course of disease,and scores of symptoms before treatment,and they were comparable.2.Comparison of clinical efficacy: After 8 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the test group was 93.33%,and the effective rate of the control group was 90.00%.The difference was statistically significant after statistical analysis(P<0.05),and the clinical effect of the experimental group was significantly higher in the control group.3.The comparison of Yale global tic severity scale(Yale Global Tic Severity Scale,YGTSS)scores after therapy: The scores of YGTSS motor tic,vocal tic,and each project of tic,as well as total scores of the two groups were compared by the statistical analysis before and after the treatment,and the differences between groups and within groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),the results showed that the two groups of treatment all could improve the symptom of the tic disorders with spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation,and the test group was better than the control group in improving the tic symptoms,reducing the numbers of tic,decreasing the frequency of tic,lessening the intensity of tic.4.The comparison of TCM syndrome scores after treatment: After the statistical analysis of the main and secondary syndrome scores and the total syndrome scores of the groups,and the differences between groups and within groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),The treatment methods of the two groups improved the spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation tic disorders were effective,but the experimental group was excellent in improving the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine in the control group,including memory,appetite,spirit,complexion,defecate,etc.Conclusions:1.Si Jun Wen Dan Decoction could treat the clinical symptoms and signs of children's tic disorder with spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation.2.The therapeutic effect of Si Jun Wen Dan Decoction on children who had tic disorder with spleen deficiency and phlegm accumulation was better than that of Tiapride Hydrochloride with improving the tic symptoms,memory,appetite,spirit,complexion,defecate,and so on.
