The Clinic Study Of Moxibustion Separated With Walnut-shell For The VDT Asthenopia

Objective:Observing the effect of walnut shell separated moxibustion in the treatment of visual display terminal asthenopia,and providing the theoretical basis for the clinical application and promotion of walnut shell separated moxibustion in the treatment of VDT asthenopia.Methods:64 VDT patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups:the experimental group and the control group.The experimental group was the Moxibustion separated Walnut-Shell group: the walnut shell was soaked in Qiju Dihuang Decoction for 6hours and then covered on the eyes for the treatment of walnut shell separated moxibustion,the moxibustion lasted for 45 minutes,three times a week for a total of 4 weeks.The control group was treated with sodium hyaluronate eye drops 1-2 times a day and lasted 4 weeks.The change of CVS-Q from baseline was the main outcome index,and the change of VFQ scale from baseline,AMP,Fliper and SIT were the secondary outcome indexes.Before treatment,after the last treatment and after the end of follow-up,CVS-Q,VFQ scale were evaluated,and the AMP,Fliper and Tear secretion were examined at before treatment and after the last treatment.Results:1.A total of 64 subjects were included in the two groups,and 2 cases fell off.A total of62 subjects completed the whole experiment.2.Baseline data,according to two sets of age,gender,refraction,CVS-Q score,VFQ score,(right and left eye,eyes)AMP,(right and left eye,eyes)Fliper,(right and left eye)amount of tear secretion are no statistical difference(P>0.05)3.Treatment outcome(1)The group of Moxibustion Separated with Walnut-Shell and sodium hyaluronate in the treatment before and after comparison shows: two kinds of treatment intervention can adjust the Fliper of right,left eye and both eyes(P < 0.01).The experimental Group intervention CVS-Q score,VFQ score and in the amount of(right eye and left eye)tear secretion are statistically difference.After two groups of interventions there is no statistical difference in(right,left eye and both eyes)of AMP(2)Comparison between Moxibustion Separated with Walnut-Shell and Sodium hyaluronate eye drops displays,the change of CVS-Q and VFQ score,the Fliper of right,left and both eyes difference Statistically(P< 0.05).The change of AMP of right,left and both eyes,amount of right and left eye tear secretion are no statistical differences(P>0.05).(3)Comparison of Two groups within groups of the follow-up show,the scores of CVS-Q and VFQ of the Moxibustion Separated with Walnut-Shell group statistically difference(P<0.01);and Sodium hyaluronate eye drops group no statistical difference(P>0.05).(4)Comparison between the test group and the control group after follow-up showed that the value of change in CVS-Q and the VFQ scale between the two groups statistically difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Moxibustion Separated with Walnut-Shell can effectively and continuously 4 weeks improve the symptoms related quality of life of VDT asthenopia,and the operation method is simple and safe,it is worth to apply for clinic.2.Walnut shell separated moxibustion may improve the contractile and diastolic function of ciliary muscle,so as to improve the Fliper,but the AMP has not been significantly improved,which needs further clinical research to prove.3.walnut shell moxibustion can promote corneal repair or improve lacrimal gland secretion function,so as to increase the amount of tear secretion and improve the symptoms of dryness in patients with VDT asthenopia.
