A Preliminary Study On The Clinical Efficacy Of External Application Of Shuhuanminfu Decoction Combined With Kanlixiaocuo Decoction In The Treatment Of Papulopustular Rosacea (Heat Toxin Accumulating Skin Syndrome)

Research purpose: Through clinical research,this project initially explored the effectiveness and safety of Shuhuanminfu Decoction Cold Wet Compress and oral Canlixiaocuo Decoction in alleviating the symptoms and signs of papulopustular rosacea.To provide a cheap and effective Chinese medicine treatment plan for the clinic.Method:A total of 80 patients with rose acne who met the standard in the dermatology clinic of Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in2020 were collected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 40 cases in each group.Treatment group :Shuhuanminfu Decoction cold wet compresses;Control group : Metronidazole gel external rub,two groups of patients were treated with oral Canlixiaocuo Decoction,moisturizing and physical sun protection.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.Before treatment,2,4 and 8 weeks after treatment,the skin lesions were photographed and recorded,and the symptoms and signs were observed and scored.Adverse reactions were recorded,and the TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment were evaluated.After the end of the course of treatment for data collection,statistical analysis,the cured patients were followed up for 4 weeks and observed recurrence.Result:1.Comparison of total effective rates : The two groups were comparable before treatment.After 8 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the treatmen group was 81.1 %,and that of the control group was 63.9 %,with no significant difference(P > 0.05).The total score of clinical symptoms and TCM syndromes of all cases were lower than those before treatment,indicating that the two treatment regimens can effectively improve the symptoms and signs and TCM syndromes of rosacea papulovesicular type(heat toxin accumulating skin syndrome).Comparison of symptoms and signs within and between groups: Regarding the comparison of onset time,for paroxysmal flushing,erythema,burning,itching,dryness,tingling,and tightness,both groups took effect after 2 weeks of treatment;for capillary For vasodilatation,papules and pustules,the treatment group and the control group took effect after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment,respectively,and the Shuhuanminfu decoction group took effect faster.Regarding the comparison of curative effects,the long-term and short-term curative effects of the treatment group have more advantages:burning and itching;the better short-term curative effects are: papules,pustules,tingling,and tightness;the better long-term curative effects are: capillaries Dilation,erythema,flushing;the effects of relieving dryness within 8 weeks of the two groups were equivalent.3.Safety comparison: There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate between the two groups,and no serious adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclusion:1.Preliminary study found that Shuhuanminfujian cold and wet compress combined with Kanlixiaocuo decoction could effectively improve the overall condition and TCM syndrome of pustular heat toxin accumulating skin syndrome of rosacea.After 8 weeks,the overall efficacy was not different from that of metronidazole gel group.2.The topical application of Shuhuanminfu decoction combined with oral Kanlixiaocuo Decoction has fast onset,long-lasting and safe effect on various skin lesions and symptoms of rosacea,and can be used in clinical promotion.
