A Study On Elderly Services In Shenyang Community Health Service Center

In 2019,the National Health Commission put forward the general requirements,in order to establish a health service system for the elderly,which is oriented to meet the needs of elderly health services and focuses on the grassroots in the Guiding Opinions on Establishing and Improving the Health Service System for the Elderly.As an early aging city,the community health service center of Shenyang has always been responsible for providing primary health services for the elderly.However,as the number of elderly people continues to increase,the contradiction between the demand of community health service for the elderly and the supply of community health service for the elderly is becoming more and more prominent.Therefore,how community health service centers can utilize their own advantages to meet the needs of the health service of the elderly has become an important issue that needs to be considered at the moment.This article conducts a field survey on the community health service center,the main body of community health services for the elderly,to understand the content,methods,equipments and personnel of the services provided to the elderly.Also,investigate the elderly through questionnaire surveys to understand the demand of the elderly population for community health services.The supply situation is compared with the demand situation,and according to this,we can conclude the main problems in the elderly services of the Shenyang Community Health Service Center,which are summarized to the following points.At first,the elderly’s health files are not updated in time.And then,the service content is not matched with the elderly’s chronic disease needs.What’s more,the disabled elderly’s rehabilitation care Unmet needs.In addition,insufficient equipment in community health service centers,and irrational structure of medical and nursing staff.Based on the theory of public goods and the theory of welfare pluralism,which are combined with the actual needs of the elderly,suggestions are put forward,including increasing the power of the government support,promoting the diversification of community services for the elderly,and improving the ability to integrate social resources.
