Clinical Study Of Litan Dingxian Decoction In The Treatment Of Epilepsy Caused By Phlegm-Fire Disturbance

Objective:to observe the clinical effect of Litan Dingxian decoction in the treatment of phlegm-fire disturbing epilepsy,evaluate its efficacy and safety,and provide guidance and basis for the prevention and treatment of this disease by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:according to the method of random number table,66 patients who met the inclusion criteria of this trial were divided into control group(n=33)and observation group(n=33).The control group was treated with standardized western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Litan Dingxian decoction granule for 3 months.The changes of TCM syndrome score,seizure frequency and total epilepsy score of the two groups before and after treatment were observed,and the curative effect was evaluated.Results:(1)In this study,66 patients with epilepsy were collected,3 patients in the control group and 3 patients in the observation group were removed,and 30 patients were completed.(2)Before treatment,the age,sex,course of disease,past history score,TCM syndrome score,seizure frequency and total epilepsy score of the two groups were compared byX~2test t test,the difference was not significant(P>0.05),can be compared.(3)The scores of TCM syndrome,seizure frequency and total score of epilepsy in the two groups were evaluated respectively after treatment,and there was significant difference between the two groups by t-test(P<0.05).The scores and frequencies of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the curative effect of the observation group was more significant.(4)There were significant differences in the efficacy of TCM symptoms,the reduction rate of seizures and the total score of epilepsy between the two groups byX~2test(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant by Mann-Whitney U rank sum test(P<0.05).The results show that compared with the control group,the observation group can improve the curative effect of TCM syndrome,reduce the number of attacks and improve the clinical effect.(5)During the observation period,there were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusion:1.Litan Dingxian decoction has a definite clinical effect in the treatment of phlegm-fire disturbing epilepsy,and has a significant effect on improving TCM syndrome,clinical manifestation and reducing seizure frequency.Two2.Litan Dingxian decoction is safe and effective in clinic with few adverse reactions,which is worthy of in-depth study and clinical promotion.
