| Objective: Observe the clinical efficacy of TCM psychological theory-based CBT combined with acupuncture in the treatment of patients with liver-qi stagnation typed mild to moderate depression, and find a better treatment plan for clinical non-drug treatment of that disease. Methods: The patients selected for this subject were from the third Outpatient Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. All 60 patients that meet the selection criteria were included in the study after informed consent.Divided into an acupuncture group and a combined group have 30 people in each of it.In the acupuncture group, conventional acupuncture was used for intervention, the main points and matching points were selected according to differences in liver-qi stagnation syndrome.Besides conventional acupuncture, the combined group adopted TCM psychological theory-based CBT.During the treatment period, the combined group’s patients maintained long-term online and offline communication to supervise the effective progress of patient-related treatment activities.Continuous treatment for 4 weeks. Before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, the patients were evaluated with Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-24),TCM symptom scale and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS).The collected data was statistically analyzed using SPSS25.0 software.Results:1.In terms of the overall effectiveness rate after treatment, the total effectiveness rate for the acupuncture group was 86.67% and that of the combined group was 93.33%.The overall effectiveness rate of the combined group was significantly higher than that of the acupuncture group. The difference in total effectiveness rates of two groups were statistically significant(P <0.05).2.Comparing the acupuncture group and the combined group before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, the difference in scores of the all scales was statistically significant to each(P<0.05).3.Comparing the acupuncture group and the combined group after treatment, the difference in scores of HAMD-24 scale、 5 factors、 TCM symptom、 SDS was statistically significant(P<0.05);and the scores of the combined group were lower than the acupuncture group, the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.Patients with liver-qi stagnation type mild to moderate depression can be improved both by TCM psychological theory-based CBT combined with acupuncture or conventional acupuncture therapy in HAMD-24,TCM symptom and SDS score.2.For patients with liver-qi stagnation type mild to moderate depression to psychological theory of TCM-based CBT combined with acupuncture is more effective than conventional acupuncture alone. |
