| Objective:In this study,by comparing the difference of curative effect between the stagnation needle lifting method and the conventional acupuncture method in the treatment of patients with Peripheral facial paralysis in the convalescent stage,we sought a more effective treatment method for patients with periphe ral facial paralysis in the convalescent stage, and provided a theoretical basis for the clinical application of the stagnation needle lifting method.Methods:Sixty-four subjects meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 32 cases in each group. The treatment group was the stagnation needle lifting method group, the control group was the conventional acupuncture group,“Yangbai”(GB14),“Sibai”(ST2),“Quanliao”(SI18),“Dicang”(ST4),Yifeng(TE-17),Qianzheng,Taiyang(EX-HN5)of the sicken side were selected, and the healthy side Hegu(L14)were selected. The appropriate depth of acupuncture was taken as the degree of “deqi”.On the basis of acupuncture in the control group,Yangbai(GB14),Sibai(ST2)and Dicang(ST4)were selected to carry out the stagnation needle lifting method after routine acupuncture. In addition, another needle was selected to puncture through the hole of the stagnation needle handle into Toulinji(GB15),Yuyao(EX-HN4)and Shangguan(GB3)for fixation respectively. Both groups were using electric acupuncture apparatus. Each treatment lasted for 30 min, once a day,6 days as a course of treatment, with a day’s rest between courses.A total of 4 courses of treatment were carried out.H-B facial nerve function grading(House-Brackmann,H-B),local quantitative score of H-B facial nerve function and facial disability index(FDI)were evaluated before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, respectively, and the treatment effect was analyzed.Results:1.Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.After 4 weeks of treatment, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The intra-group comparison of forehead, eyes, cheek and mouth angle before and after treatment showed statistical significance(P<0.05),while the intergroup comparison of forehead, eyes and mouth showed statistical significance(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group. There was no significant difference in buccal and interband movement(P>0.05).Facial disability index(FDI)was divided into physical motor function(FDIP)and psychosocial function(FDIS)scores. After treatment,intra-group and inter-group comparison of the two groups showed statistical significance(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.3.After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rates of the two groups were 86.67% and 76.67% respectively, which was statistically significant(P< 0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:1.Both stagnation needle lifting method and conventional acupuncture method have curative effect on the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis in the convalescence period; The curative effect of needle stagnation and lifting was better than that of conventional acupuncture group.2.Stagnation needle lifting method can improve facial nerve function and local motor function of patients with peripheral facial paralysis in convalescent stage, and the improvement of forehead, eyes and mouth function is better than that of conventional acupuncture group;3.Stagnation needle lifting method can improve the motor function and mental health state of patients with peripheral facial paralysis in convalescence, and the treatment is better than that of the conventional acupuncture group. |
