Clinical Effect Observation Of Wenshen Tongdu Decoction Combined With Pkp In The Treatment Of Osteoporotic Thoracolumbar Compression Fracture (Kidney-yang Deficiency Type)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Wenshen Tongdu Decoction combined with PKP in the treatment of osteoporotic thoracic and lumbar spine compression fractures(kidney-yang deficiency type),and compare the relationship between the observation group and the control group,so as to summarize the clinical significance of Wenshen Tongdu Decoction combined with PKP in the treatment of osteoporotic thoracic and lumbar spine compression fractures.Methods: The patients who met the diagnosis of osteoporotic thoracolumbar compression fracture admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from January,2020.to October,2020.were selected in strict accordance with the clinical trial design criteria.The 60 patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into control group and observation group(30 cases in each group).The gender and age of patients in the two groups were statistically analyzed to exclude differences.VAS score,Oswestry disability index,bone mineral density and total response rate were evaluated after 1 week of treatment,4 weeks of follow-up and 2months of follow-up.Results :(1)after comparing the two groups of patients’ age,gender and other general data,there was no statistical significance,comparable.(2)comparison of VAS scores:P=0.758>0.05 before treatment between the observation group and the control group,the difference was not statistically significant and comparable.VAS scores at 1 week,4weeks and 2 months after treatment were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups showed that the pain relief in the observation group was better than that in the control group after 4 weeks of treatment and 2 months of follow-up,and the difference was statistically significant.(3)comparison of ODI scores: P=0.86>0.05 before treatment between the observation group and the control group,the difference was not statistically significant and comparable;After 1 week of treatment,4 weeks of follow-up and 2 months of follow-up,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)Bone mineral density(BMD): P=0.87>0.05 before treatment between the two groups,the difference was not statistically significant and comparable.Bone mineral density at 3 months after treatment was significantly different from that before treatment,suggesting that both groups could improve osteoporosis.After treatment,the BMD of the two groups was compared(P=0.01<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.(5)The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.3%,while that of the control group was80%.The symptom relief of the observation group was better than that of the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: The treatment of OVCF(kidney-yang deficiency type)by Wenshen Tongdu Decoction combined with PKP has a good effect,with patients’ back pain,spinal mobility function and bone mineral density improved well,and no obvious adverse reactions,which is easy to be accepted by patients and worthy of clinical promotion and application.
