Objective: By analysis of The thoracolumbar osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures in patients with postoperative imaging data and The Visual Analogue Scale/Score(VAS: 0 ~ 10 minutes)before and after surgery , Observation of clinical practice and experimental study onpatients with unilateral vertebral puncture percutaneous vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty can make an ideal distribution of bone cement to both sides, and achieved good therapeutic effect. Providing a frame of reference for the clinical operations .Methods: We chose the records of 26 patients who were treated with thoracolumbar percutaneous vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty in departments of the orthopaedics of Shan dong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital from October 2009 to November2010 .Select thoracolumbar osteoporotic compression fractures with unilateral puncture percutaneous vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty treatment of 61 patients, collected x-ray is taken after lateral radiographs 61.The use of relevant software and statistical distribution of bone cement bilateral, while the patients before and after surgery Visual Analogue Scale/Score (VAS: 0 ~ 10 points) for statistical analysis.Unilateral percutaneous puncture of the puncture in the right angle distribution of bone cement bilateral effects and surgery. Results: 1, by unilateral (right) PVP and PKP treatment of puncture, bone cement in the vertebral body in the distribution of the basic maintenance of the level of equal right and left sides, the overall trend is an area slightly smaller than the right side of the left side of the areaBut the difference is minimal.2, preoperative, postoperative day, a week after surgery and postoperative VAS score into a decreasing trend in January, and after surgery compared with preoperative VAS score was significantly lower in patients with significant pain relief after surgery.3, the patient's preoperative and postoperative day, a week after surgery and postoperative VAS scores in January there is a statistically significant difference. Conclusion: 1 to unilateral vertebral puncture percutaneous vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty, the needle can puncture the desired location; 2. unilateral bone cement can be achieved by punctu of the ideal distribution of the bilateral area of responsibility; 3. Unilateral puncture can shorten the operation time to reduce the incidence of complications; 4, unilateral puncture can achieve the desired analgesic effect.
