Objective The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of job burnout and job satisfaction of basic public health service personnel, and to find their main influencing factors.Structural equation model is used to explore the path among job burnout, job satisfaction and job stress.Provide clues and scientific basis for suggestions to reduce the pressure of basic public health service personnel, control the occurrence of job burnout, and improve job satisfaction. Methods Using stratified random cluster sampling method,36 community health service centers /township health centers and 36 community health service stations/village clinics were selected to investigate all workers engaged in basic public health services,finally,439 basic public health service personnel were investigated. The reliability test and factor analysis were used to test the reliability and validity of the scale. The average, standard deviation, frequency, percentage and detection rate were used to describe the basic situation, job burnout, job satisfaction and job stress of the respondents.T-test,ANOVA,Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to analyze the differences of job burnout, job satisfaction and job stress.Binary logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of job burnout and work pressure.Linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of job satisfaction.Structural equation modeling(SEM)was used to explore the structural relationship among job burnout, job satisfaction and job stress.Results(1)The Cronbach’α of job satisfaction scales is 0.871,KMO values is 0.888,Bartlett spherical test values is 2906.490(P<0.001),It shows that the scale has good consistency.(2)The detection rate of job burnout of basic public health service personnel was 54.7%,and the score of the dimension of personal achievement reduction was the highest, followed by emotional exhaustion and dehumanization. The regression found that variables such as basic public health work ability, equipment configuration, relationship with residents, and region are the influencing factors of job burnout.(3)Basic public health service personnel have the highest satisfaction with the degree of attention they receive to their work, followed by equipment configuration, title promotion, and performance appraisal mechanism, and the lowest satisfaction with salary levels. The regression found that variables such as equipment configuration, region, basic public health work ability, practice qualification, and profession are the influencing factors of job satisfaction.(4)The average job stress score of basic public health workers was 4.025±0.795,28.7%service personnel felt that the job stress was very high, and 48.5% workers thought that the job stress was relatively high. The regression results show that variables such as job title, training needs, region, urban and rural areas are the influencing factors of job stress.(5)Job stress is positively correlated with job burnout, but negatively correlated with job satisfaction, and job satisfaction is negatively correlated with job burnout.Job stress directly affects job burnout, job burnout directly affects job satisfaction, and job stress has a mediating effect on job satisfaction through job burnout. Conclusion Various degrees of job burnout are common among the survey subjects, and job satisfaction is lower than the middle level, and there is generally greater work pressure.Factors such as work ability, equipment configuration, relationship with residents, region and training needs affect the job burnout and job satisfaction of basic public health workers. There is a close relationship between job stress, job burnout and job satisfaction. These factors are related to the stability of the grassroots talent team and should be paid attention to.Appropriate measures should be taken to relieve job burnout and improve job satisfaction. |
