| Objective:By collecting physical examination data of children aged 6-14 in primary and secondary schools in some administrative districts of Shenzhen,statistical analysis and curve drawing of their physical development index data are carried out to understand the physical development of children in schools in Shenzhen today,and analyze and discuss the physical development of school children in Shenzhen.The physical development of children provides reference and basis for the follow-up clinical and research work and the implementation of related policies.Methods:Select children aged 6-14 in some primary and secondary schools in Futian District,Longgang District,and Baoan District of Shenzhen who participated in the physical examination from May 2018 to May 2019,and collect physical examination data such as age,height,and weight.After screening,according to the location The administrative divisions are divided into three groups: Futian District,Longgang District,and Baoan District.According to the nature of the school,it is divided into two groups: public schools and private schools.According to the different groups,single factor analysis is performed to compare the differences in indicators such as height and weight to calculate short stature,The prevalence of overweight,obesity,and malnutrition were drawn and the growth curves of each sex were drawn and compared by group to analyze the physical development status of school children in Shenzhen..Results:1.Physical measurement: gender differences: boys in all indicators are significantly higher than girls,but regardless of the administrative region or the nature of the school,the height of girls in the age group of 9.5-12.0 is higher than that of boys in the same age group.2.Physique measurement: differences in administrative areas: regardless of age and gender,the weight and height of children in Futian and Bao’an districts are higher than those in Longgang district.3.The detection rate of wasting,overweight,and obesity: Children aged 6-14: The total detection rate of wasting was 11.5%(11 730/101 733),of which 11.5%(6 482/56491)were boys and 11.6 were girls %(5 248/45242);the total detection rate of overweight is 12.02%(12 227/101 733),of which 14.2%(8 047/56 491)for boys and9.24%(4 180/56 491)for girls;The overall obesity detection rate was 10.28%(1039/10 1733),of which 12.91%(7294/56491)were boys and 6.99%(3161/45242)were girls.Conclusion:1.The overall physical development of children from 6-14 in Shenzhen is not significantly behind the national average.The weight of children in Futian and Bao’an districts has increased significantly with age,which is higher than the national average.2.In general,boys are better than girls in physical development,but in the range of9.5 to 12 years old,girls are taller than boys of the same age regardless of the administrative region or the nature of the school.It is considered that the youth development of girls is earlier than that of boys.It is related to entering the second peak of growth early.3.The overall detection rate of overweight and obesity has increased compared with previous studies of the same type.Children’s overweight and obesity situation has become less optimistic than before.It is related to family,caregiver,education and other factors,and attention and management of children’s growth should be strengthened. |
