Clinical Observation Of Zelan Decoction Combined With Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Acute Lumbar Sprain

Objective:By observing the clinical effect of Zelan Decoction combined with Acupuncture in the treatment of Acute Lumbar Sprain,this paper aims to provide evidence-based medicine for the clinical promotion of Zelan Decoction combined with Acupuncture in the treatment of Acute Lumbar Sprain.Methods:Sixty patients with Acute Lumbar Sprain who were admitted to the Department of Spinal Surgery and Rehabilitation of Fuzhou Second Hospital and who met the criteria and signed the informed consent were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,with 30 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Acupuncture,and the experimental group was additionally treated with Zelan Decoction for a course of 7 days.VAS score and ODI index of patients were recorded before,3 days after and 7 days after treatment,and waist activity and TCM syndrome integral were observed and recorded before and 7 days after treatment.The intra-group and inter-group differences of VAS score,ODI index,waist activity and TCM syndrome integral were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.SPSS 20.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:A total of 60 people who met the research criteria were included in this experiment,and a total of 58 cases were completed.The completion rate was 93.10%.There were 29 cases in the treatment group and 29 cases in the control group.1.There was no significant difference in gender,age,disease time and other basic data between the two groups(P>0.05);Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the VAS score,ODI index,waist activity and TCM syndrome integral between the two groups(P>0.05).The results indicating that the two groups were comparable.2.After treatment,the VAS score and ODI index at each follow-up time point in 2 groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment,lumbar activity and TCM syndrome integral were significantly improved in both groups(P<0.05).The results indicated that pain and function of both groups were improved after treatment.3.The changes of VAS score,ODI index,lumbar activity and TCM syndrome integral in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The total effective rate of TCM syndromes in experimental group and control group was 93.10% and 72.41% respectively after treatment,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results indicating that the clinical efficacy of the experimental group in the treatment of Acute Lumbar Sprain was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:Zelan Decoction combined with Acupuncture and Acupuncture alone can relieve the clinical symptoms of Acute Lumbar Sprain.Moreover,the curative effect of Zelan Decoction combined with Acupuncture is obviously better than that of Acupuncture alone.It was further indicated that Zelan Decoction combined with Acupuncture can effectively alleviate the symptoms of Acute Lumbar Sprain.
