Observation Of Therapeutic Effect Of Fuyang Tongluo Decoction On Post-stroke Spastic Paralysis Patients With Spleen And Kidney Insufficiency

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect and security of Fuyang Tongluo Decoction(oral medication+fumigation and washing)on post-stroke spastic paralysis(Post-stroke Spastic Paralysis)patients with spleen and kidney insufficiency,aiming to provide a new method for the treatment of post-stroke spastic paralysis.Methods:68 patients meeting the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into two groups:control group(34 cases)and treatment group(34 cases).Control group:In addition to the basic treatment,they were given Eperisone Hydrochloride,50 mg orally,3 times a day,for 4 weeks.Treatment group:On the basis of the control group,they were given Fuyang Tongluo Decoction in combination with fumigation and washing.The Decoction is composed of Processed Radix Aconiti Lateralis,Rhizoma Zingiberis,Cassia Twig,Asarum,Angelica Sinensis,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Bombyx Batryticatus,Tetrapanax Papyriferus,Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae and Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata.The Modified Ashworth Spasticity Scale(MAS),Modified Barthel Index(MBI)and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom Scores of the two groups before and after the treatment were evaluated respectively;and the changes before and after treatment and between groups were compared.Afterwards,the data were collected and sorted out,and then SPSS21.0 software was employed for data statistics and analysis.Results:1.Basic data,MAS,MBI and Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom Scores before the treatment were compared between the two groups,showing there was no statistical significance between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.MAS scores in 2 groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment,while MBI scores were sharply higher than before,with a significant difference(P<0.01),indicating that the treatments to the two groups were both effective in reducing the degree of spasticity and improving the degree of and activities of daily living.3.MAS scores and MBI scores of the treatment group improved more obviously than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the degree of spasticity and activities of daily living.4.After the treatment,Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom Scores in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment,and Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom Scores in the treatment group decreased more than that of the control group,showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).5.Based on MAS scores,the effective rates of the control group and the treatment group after treatment was 88.24% and 76.47%,respectively,revealing a statistically significant difference between the groups(P<0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group.Conclusion:1.The Fuyang Tongluo Decoction(oral medication+fumigation and washing)can decrease Scores of spasticity and Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom Scores,improve the degree of activities of daily living.During treament,neither control group nor treatment group showed adverse drug reaction.2.The mechanism of fumigation and washing is similar to oral medication,but it act directly on local lesion.When combined with oral medication,it can decrease Scores of spasticity better and improve the curative effect,at the same time,it has high security and less toxic and side effects.
