Objective:Through acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, the changes of various indexes before and after treatment were observed and compared, and then the different clinical significance of acupuncture and rehabilitation therapy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation was discussed,so as to provide experimental data for clinical treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods:90 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into observation group, acupuncture group and exercise group,30 cases in each group. The acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture at L3-L5 Jiaji,Shenshu,Dachangshu and Huantiao points. The exercise group was treated with rehabilitation method. The observation group was treated with acupuncture combined with rehabilitation method. The acupuncture method and rehabilitation method were the same as those in the acupuncture group and exercise group,The treatment course of acupuncture is one week, and that of rehabilitation exercises is three months. The changes of visual analogue scale(VAS),Japanese Orthopedic Association low back pain rating scale(JOA)and lumbar mobility score were recorded and compared before treatment,1 week after treatment and 3 months after treatment.Result:1.Before treatment, there were no significant differences in VAS score,JOA score and lumbar mobility score among the groups and between the groups(P > 0.05).2.One week after treatment,VAS score,JOA score and lumbar range of motion score of each group were improved to varying degrees. There was no significant difference in the improvement of each index between the observation group and the acupuncture group(P >0.05).The improvement of each index in the observation group and the acupuncture group was better than that in the Gongfa exercise group, and the difference was obvious, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).The effective rates of the observation group, acupuncture group and Gongfa exercise group were 96.43%,86.21% and 69.23% respectively, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.After 3 months of treatment, the VAS score,JOA score and lumbar range of motion score of each group were improved to varying degrees. The improvement of each index in the observation group was better than that in the acupuncture group and the exercise group, and the difference was obvious, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the improvement of each index between the acupuncture group and the exercise group(P > 0.05).The recurrence rates of observation group, acupuncture group and exercise group were 3.7%,12% and 11.11% respectively.Conclusion1.Acupuncture treatment can quickly improve the symptoms of patients in a short time, and the curative effect is better than simple exercise.2.The index changes of acupuncture treatment combined with long-term exercise were significantly better than the other two groups, the recurrence rate was significantly lower than the other two groups, and the effect of improving symptoms was more significant.3.Acupuncture treatment can quickly relieve symptoms, but later if the lack of exercise is easy to relapse.Long term adherence to exercise can effectively prevent recurrence, but the effect is slow and has no obvious effect in the short term. The combination of the two has a good complementary effect, quick effect, good curative effect and can effectively reduce the recurrence rate, which is worthy of clinical application.
