VAS Quantifies The Distribution Of Low Back Pain In Different TCM Syndromes

Background:Low back pain is a worldwide problem,and 80%of them have been suffering from low back pain in a certain period of life,and the incidence is second only to the cold.The costs associated with low back pain in the United States are $500?1000 billion each year,accounting for about 1/4 of total labor compensation in the United States.Modern medicine often has better diagnosis and treatment for lumbago with definite etiology,but another part of "non-specific low back pain" is confused in clinical diagnosis,lack of pertinence in treatment and poor curative effect.Still need to improve by means of inspection,diagnosis and control for treatment.But the conservative treatment which has a vague cause and not strong pertinence often has little effect.Traditional Chinese medicine is an important component of conservative treatment.Traditional Chinese medicine is based on dialectical treatment,and commonly used Chinese patent medicines emphasize TCM syndromes.However,there is often a phenomenon of neglecting dialectical abuse of proprietary Chinese medicine.In fact,the dialectic of low back pain is very simple,and it can be diagnosed by the nature of pain,aggravation factor,relieving factor and the characteristic of pain.And according to the early clinical observation,the patient's main complaint of the degree of low back pain is often related to the syndrome type.Objective:Study of TCM syndrome type "back pain" in the outpatient department of orthopedics in the distribution of the correlation and the degree of pain and TCM syndrome type "back pain" and "back pain",the relationship between Chinese and Western medicine syndrome diagnosis,course of disease,gender,age and other factors,in order to provide reference for the selection of clinical therapy of traditional Chinese medicine.Method:According to the inclusion criteria,65 patients were included,collecting basic information of the patients,according to "Chinese orthopedics","Chinese medicine"and mentor clinical experience,the development of traditional Chinese medicine "back pain" syndrome scale,using the maximum likelihood discriminant method for the assignment of relevant factors,determine the syndrome diagnosis.The degree of low back pain was quantified according to the visual analogue score of pain.The distribution of TCM Syndromes of low back pain in outpatient department was analyzed by SPSS software,and the correlation between syndrome type and pain degree,western medicine diagnosis and other basic information was concluded.Result:According to the data collected,the following results are obtained by SPSS analysis.1 65 cases of Chinese medicine "lumbago" patients,including 19 cases of arthralgia syndrome,blood injury in 15 cases,kidney injury syndrome 31 cases with kidney injury with the largest proportion,about 47.7%,blood stasis injury,only about 23%samples of patients with low back pain".2 Chinese medicine "lumbago" syndrome,there is a significant correlation between blood injury syndrome and kidney qi injury syndrome and the degree of pain,injury of Qi and blood syndrome of patients with pain generally heavier,pain degree of patients with kidney injury syndrome were generally mild,and the wind cold dampness syndrome and the degree of pain is not obvious.3 the syndrome type of "lumbago" in traditional Chinese medicine has nothing to do with the diagnosis of Western medicine,the length of the course of the disease,the age and sex.Conclusion:1 the diagnosis of TCM syndrome is more complicated.The relationship between the TCM syndrome type of low back pain and the diagnosis of Western medicine,the length of the disease,the sex,age and so on is not found in this study.In the process of dialectical treatment,we should also take symptoms as the main consideration and take all factors into consideration.We should rationally judge the TCM Syndromes of lumbago and guide the use of TCM therapy.2 kidney qi deficiency syndrome is the most common TCM syndrome type,accounting for about half of the sample size.It has certain medication tendency for patients who do not have the conditions of syndrome differentiation.3 there is a certain correlation between the degree of pain and TCM syndromes.Generally speaking,the pain of Qi and blood injury patients is heavier,and the pain of patients with deficiency of kidney qi is relatively mild,which is of guiding significance for clinical medication tendency with the condition of syndrome differentiation.4 the wind cold dampness syndrome characteristic is not obvious,should be detailed to clear the dialectical syndrome medication guide,but windcolddampness often have evil history,and often cross for disease,medication can not be neglected.
