Study On Zhe Correlation Between TCM Constitution And Knee Osteoarthritis Severity And Risk Factors

Objective: Through the questionnaire investigation of patients with knee joint osteoarthrosis,we classified the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine,estimated the degree and symptom of the disease,and evaluated the risk factors,the relationship between the Constitution of traditional Chinese medicine and the susceptibility of knee joint osteoarthritis/osteodystrophy and the relationship between the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine and the severity and risk factors of knee joint osteoarthritis/osteodystrophy were obtained.Methods: To collect the classified assessment of TCM Constitution of the outpatients and inpatients from December 2018 to December 2019 in the Department of orthopaedics and traumatology of the Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and record the assessment data of TCM constitution of the patients respectively,then the number of patients with different constitutions was correlated with the number of patients with different constitutions,and the knee joint symptoms were evaluated,and the KL grades of patients with different constitutions were recorded,and the KL grades of patients with different osteoarthritis/osteodystrophy were evaluated,vas Pain score and WOMAC score(total score 100)were used to evaluate the correlation between each constitution patient and knee osteoarthritis symptom.Finally,the risk factors of each constitution patient were evaluated,the relationship between knee osteoarthritis/osteodystrophy and risk factors was obtained.Results:(1)A total of 281 cases were collected,including 121 cases of Yang deficiency constitution,42 cases of peace constitution,31 cases of qi deficiency constitution,36 cases of yin deficiency constitution,15 cases of phlegm dampness constitution,16 cases of damp heat constitution,10 cases of blood stasis constitution,8 cases of qi depression constitution and 2 cases of special constitution.The number of patients with Yang deficiency constitution P < 0.05,with statistical difference.(2)The total scores of the patients with TCM Constitution: Yang deficiency constitution: 75.21 ± 3.42;peaceful Constitution: 57.24 ± 4.53;Qi deficiency constitution: 64.23 ± 3.57;Yin deficiency constitution: 55.21 ± 4.52;phlegm dampness Constitution: 57.81 ± 2.48;damp heat constitution: 55.21 ± 3.89;blood stasis Constitution: 49.65 ± 2.45;Qi Depression Constitution: 47.21 ± 3.21;special constitution: 63;total scores of the patients with Yang deficiency constitution: P < 0.05,The difference was statistically significant.(3)The risk factors included age(more than 55 years old),weight(overweight and obesity),high-intensity exercise habits(climbing mountains,repeatedly climbing and descending stairs,weight-bearing squatting,etc.)and genu varus and varus deformity(P < 0.05).There were statistical differences in the distribution of nine kinds of constitution,which indicated that all of them could cause or aggravate genu joint disease.Conclusion: The number of patients with Yang Deficiency Constitution in knee joint osteoarthritis/osteodystrophy was the largest,and the scores of the degree of knee joint disease were much higher than those of other patients,which indicated that Yang deficiency constitution was prone to knee joint osteoarthritis/osteodystrophy,and the symptom was the most serious,in addition,the former two patients for Qi deficiency and physical fitness,in the risk factors,age,body mass index,high intensity exercise habits and knee varus deformity easily induced or even aggravated osteoarthritis/osteodystrophy.Therefore,it is necessary to prevent and treat the patients with Yang-deficiency Constitution,so as to keep them away from the four risk factors and avoid the occurrence or aggravation of osteoarthritis/osteodystrophy.
