Objective:To discuss the effect of ultrasound-guided Platelet-rich Plasma injection times on the clinical efficacy of mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis,so as to provide a basis for the clinical treatment of mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis. Methods:A total of 50 patients with knee osteoarthritis were selected who were admitted to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of the second affiliated hospital of Nanchang University from January 2020 to January 2021.A total of 50 patients with knee osteoarthritis were confirmed as K-L(Kellgren-Lawrence)Grade Ⅰ-Ⅲ by imaging and their clinical manifestations were consistent. All patients were randomly divided into two groups: group A and group B.The patients in group A were treated with Platelet-rich Plasma for 3 times and those in group B were treated with Platelet-rich Plasma for 1 time. The Patients were treated by intra-articular injection of Platelet-rich Plasma under the guidance of musculoskeletal ultrasound. The basic data of patients before treatment, including age, sex, body mass index, knee type, previous drug treatment, visual analogue score of pain before treatment(VAS),the Western Ontario and Mc Master Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)before treatment were collected and statistically analyzed. All patients were followed up at 1week,4 weeks and 12 weeks after intra-articular Platelet-rich Plasma injection.Pain visual analogue score(VAS)and the Western Ontario and Mc Master Universities Osteoarthritis Index score(WOMAC)were obtained to evaluate knee Pain and dysfunction, and to record the feelings of patients during treatment and during follow-up.Finally,the data obtained are analyzed by SPSS23.0,and then the statistical chart is drawn by Graph Pad Prism8 according to the results of statistical analysis. Results:The baseline parameters of all patients were similar(P>0.05).Compared with the follow-up data of the two groups, the VAS score and WOMAC score of the two groups before treatment and the first week after treatment were not comparable(P>0.05).The VAS score and WOMAC score of the A group were significantly lower than those of the B group at the 4th and 12 th week after treatment(P<0.05).In the same treatment group, the VAS score and WOMAC score decreased at the 1st,4th and 12 th week after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Whether single or multiple Platelet-rich Plasma injection can effectively relieve pain and improve joint function in patients with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis, but the effect of multiple treatment is better than that of single treatment.
