Objective: To study the effect of Shentong Zhuyu Decoction treated residual lumbar and leg pain postoperative.Methods: Seventy-four LDH patients received Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy(PELD),who admissoned on the spinal department of Henan hospital of traditional Chinese medicine(the second affiliated hospital of henan university of traditional Chinese medicine),from december 2018 to december 2019,were enrolled and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.The control group was treated with hydroprednisone injection,injection of inflammatory skin extract of vaccinia vaccine in rabbits,and guided to carry out functional exercise.On the base,the treatment group began to take the Shentong Zhuyu Decoction,1 Fu / day,morning and evening,15 days as a course of treatment and stopped taking the medicine after two courses of treatment.We use the VAS to evaluate the degree of pain,ODI to evaluate the performance of the body function,the JOA to evaluate the degree of Low Back Pain(LBP)and the improved Mac Nab standard to comprehensively evaluation the clinical effect,with 1st week,2nd week,4th week after the treatment.Results:1、Comparison between the control group and the treatment group: gender,the operation section,Age,Course of disease,body mass index(BMI),the operation frequency,residual Pain site data,P>0.05,the two groups data were comparable.2、VAS Score: All the scores were reduced after treatment,and the comparison with in the group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison between the two groups at 1st week,2nd week and 4th week after treatment showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).VAS score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.3、ODI Score: All the scores were reduced after treatment,1st week after treatment,the comparison between the two groups showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The therapeutic effect of the two groups was similar.Comparison between the two groups at 2nd and4 th week after treatment showed that P<0.05,indicating a statistically significant difference.ODI score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.4、JOA Score: All the scores improved after treatment.The comparison between the two groups at 1st week,2nd week and 4th week after treatment showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).JOA score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.5、The Improved Mac Nab Standard:the treatment group: excellent: 12 cases,good: 18 cases,fair: 4 cases,Poor: 1 cases,the excellent ratio 86%;The control group:excellent: 10 cases,good:17 cases,fair: 5 cases,Poor: 4 cases,the excellent ratio 75%,P=0.003,the treatment group was superior to the control group.Conclusion: Shentong Zhuyu Decoction combined with conventional treatment can reduce residual lumbar and leg pain postoperative and improve lumbar function.It is an effective way that the combination Shentong Zhuyu Decoction with the conventional treatment treat residual lumbar and leg pain postoperative,and worthy of clinical application.
