| BackgroundWhen tendon of long head of biceps brachii rubs against the greater tuberosity of humerus repeatedly,a degenerative change would happen,which can make the body local is affected by the stimulation of congestion,oedema,conglutination and fibrillating fibre,resulting in stabbing pain and pressing pain in intertubercularis humeri,which reduces the range of motion of the shoulder.This disease seriously affects the daily life of patients,and at the same time causes a relatively large economic and social burden to our country.In clinical work,the application of electroacupuncture combined with Yiguan cupping therapy in the treatment of myotenositis of long head of biceps brachii has achieved obvious clinical treatment effect,therefore,further research on the clinical effect of electroacupuncture combined with Yi pot on this disease can provide new options and directions for the treatment of this disease by traditional Chinese medicine science.ObjectiveThrough clinical randomized controlled study,observing the improvement of the treatment of shoulder motion limitation and pain in patients with myotenositis of long head of biceps brachii treated by electroacupuncture combined with Yiguan cupping therapy and evaluating the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with Yiguan cupping therapy in the treatment of myotenositis of long head of biceps brachii,can provide a specific idea for doctors in the clinical treatment of myotenositis of long head of biceps brachii.MethodsSeventy-two patients with biceps tendonitis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups,namely,electroacupuncture combined with Yiguan cupping therapy group and electroacupuncture group,36 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture combined with Yiguan cupping therapy,and the control group was treated with electroacupuncture twice a week for consecutive 4 weeks.After the course of treatment,the comprehensive scores of shoulder joint before and after treatment were compared between the treatment group and the control group(Neer shoulder function score),Constant-Murley shoulder function score、shoulder function pain score(Visual Analogue Scale,VAS)and criterion of efficacy evaluation in two groups after treatment.Results1.In this study,the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 91.67%and 83.33%,respectively,suggesting that the efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with easy-pot therapy in the treatment of peptide biceps longiceps tendonitis was better than that of traditional electroacupuncture therapy,and compared with the treatment before,the two treatment methods obtained better efficacy in pain relief and improvement of activity.2.There was no statistically significant difference in the VAS score between the two groups before treatment,but there was statistically significant difference in the VAS score between the two groups after treatment,suggesting that electroacupuncture combined with easy-pot therapy has better analgesic effect than electroacupuncture alone.3.In the two groups before treatment Neer shoulder joint function score difference comparing is no statistical significance,the two groups after treatment of shoulder joint Neer shoulder joint score difference have statistical significance,the two groups before treatment CMS score difference comparison difference has no statistical significance,the two groups after treatment in the CMS score difference comparing statistical significance,suggesting the biceps muscle function rehabilitation of tendonitis,will cooperate with easy jar therapy has more advantages.4.In terms of the number of recurrent cases,electroacupuncture alone was twice as much as electroacupuncture combined with easy-cupping therapy,indicating that the longterm efficacy of electroacupuncture combined with easy-cupping therapy in the treatment of this disease was more stable and the recurrence rate was lower.5.There were no adverse reactions in both groups during the treatment.Only 1 patient in each group had subcutaneous ecchymosis on the acupuncture site,which was mild and relieved spontaneously without special treatment.6.In conclusion,electrotherapy combined with easy-cupping therapy is a safe,effective,simple and easy-to-learn non-surgical treatment for biceps tendonitis,which can relieve pain and improve shoulder function.Conclusion1.electroacupuncture combined with Yiguan cupping therapy and electroacupuncture can relieve the shoulder pain caused by myotenositis of long head of biceps brachii,improve the range of motion of the patient’s shoulder joint,and clearly can treat myotenositis of long head of biceps brachii.2.The curative effect of electroacupuncture combined with Yiguan cupping therapy treat myotenositis of long head of biceps brachii is better than electroacupuncture,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion. |
