Professor Du Shaohui’s Clinical Experience In Using Xin Jia Fu Zi Tang Based On Data Mining Results

The article includes three parts:literature research,introduction of Xinjia Fuzi Decoction,and clinical experience summary,analyzing and discussing Professor Du Shaohui’s clinical experience in using the "xin jia fu zi tang".The pathogenesis of Guizhi tang,the pathogenesis of Guizhi tang in "Lushi Clinical Experiment Record","Lushi Drug Compatibility Explanation",the contemporary pharmacology of Guizhi tang,as well as the application of xinjia tang,fu zi tang and xinjia fu zi tang in contemporary clinical practice are reviewed in the literature research part.The second part is the introduction to the "he"method and xin jia fu zi tang.The third part is a summary of Professor Du Shaohui’s clinical experience in the application of xinjia fu zi tang and typical cases in practice.ObjectiveThis paper aims to summarize Professor Du Shaohui’s clinical experience in using xin jia tang,and explore the experience and the regularity of using this prescription.MethodsBy collecting and sorting out professor Du Shaohui’s clinical application of xin jia fu zi tang,a total of 180 patients were selected according to the relevant criteria.The case datbase was established by introducing patients’ name,gender,age,TCM diagnosis,and western medicine diagnosis to the EXCEL spreadsheet,and uniformly standardizing the tongue,pulse,TCM symptoms,and prescription composition.Then statistical methods such as frequency statistics and association analysis were used to analyze the information in the database.Finally,the data analysis results are combined with Professor Du Shaohui’s clinical experience to explain and summarize Professor Du Shaohui’s experience in using xin jia fu zi tang.Results1.General situation:the 180 valid medical cases in the database cover 67 male patients and 113 female patients.The ratio of male to female is 1:1.69.The number of female patients is relatively larger and the age range is 17 to 90 years old,indicating that the applicable age range is relatively wide but mainly elderly patients.2.Types of disease:the 180 valid medical covers multiple types of diseases,including TCM internal medicine,TCM surgery,Ophthalmology and otolaryngoloy of TCM,and TCM gynecological diseases.Specifically,TCM internal medicine diseases,with a total of 172 cases,account for 95.56%of total included cases.While there are 5 cases of gynecological diseases,2 cases of TCM surgery diseases and 1 case of TCM ENT;3.The syndrome differentiation basis of xin jia fu zi tang is insomnia,dizziness,chills,polyuria at night,spontaneous sweating,fatigue etc.The characteristics of the symptoms are pale red tongue,thin white fur,thin and tight pulse.4.Medication rule:In 180 cases of effective diagnosis,excluding the Chinese medicinal crops included in original prescription,the traditional Chinese medicine used more than 10 times are amomum(46 times),Rhizoma Pinellinae Praeparata(44 times),Radix astragali(43 times),radix codonopsis(33 times),Papaya(32 times),Red Peony root(30 times),gastrodin(27 times),Jujube(23 times),Fushen(22 times),Psoralen(22 times),Angelica sinensis(20 times),Fangfeng(19 times),Caulis spatholobi(19 times),Achyranthes bidentata(17 times),Citrus aurantii(14 times),semen platycladi(13 times),cornu cervi degelatinatum(13 times),dried rehmannia root(12 times),Asarum(12 times),Bupleurum(11 times),arillus longan(10 times),dragon bone(10 times),oyster(10 times).The compatibility with strong correlation are:Angelica sinensis with Radix astragali,dragon bone with oyster,Angelica sinensis,Caulis spatholobi with Radix astragali,Amomum,Radix astragali with radix codonopsis,Fushen with Rhizoma Pinellinae Praeparata,Caulis spatholobi with Angelica sinensis,Caulis spatholobi with Amomum,Caulis spatholobi with Angelica sinensis,Caulis spatholobi with Radix astragali,Angelica sinensis,gastrodin with Papaya.Professor Du Shaohui often use Fangfeng to treat those who are nutritive Qi and defensive Qi disharmony,such as the yang and the yin are weak,to dispel the feng and he yang.For those who with Ying Qi stagnates and defending Qi floating,angelica sinensis and red peony are often added,while for those who cannot invigorate blood due to cold blood stasis,Amomum and Rhizoma Pinellinae Praeparata are often added to guide the nutritive Qi to defensive Qi to protect the Yang and remove blood stasis.Radix astragalus is used with those who are weak in defensive Qi and depression in nutritive Qi,while radix astragalus,radix codonopsis and jujube are often added to treat those who are weak in nutritive Qi and defense Qi.For those with cold and stagnant nutritive Qi and defense Qi,Radix astragalus,cornu cervi degelatinatum,Asarum are added,and for those are weak in nutritive Qi,dried radix rehmanniae,Angelica sinensis,red peony and jujube are added.For those are depressed in defense Qi and to dissolve heat,Bupleurum and Citrus aurantium are added,and for those who are defense Qi and Yang inharmony,dragon bone and oyster are often added.For those who suffer from exhaustion due to sexual indulgence,Amomum,Fushen and Gastrodia are commonly used for compatibility.Combined with the governor channel,for those with yang deficiency,Radix astragalus and cornu cervi degelatinatum are often added;for those with blood deficiency,Angelica sinensis and Caulis spatholobi are used;For those with both Yin and Yang deficiency,cornu cervi degelatinatum,Radix astragalus,Caulis spatholobi,and angelica sinensis can be used together.For those who with Yangming and Zaojin merging,Pinellia and Citrus aurantium are often added,while for those who do not drop in the lungs and stomach,semen platycladi is often used to lower the lung-Qi and stomach-Qi and stomach to coordinate heart-kidney.For those with the spleen,Codonopsis and jujube are often added to treat those with spleen deficiency and psoralen is added for those with speen-kidney deficiency.For those who are correspond to the shao yang xiang huo,Bupleurum is used to clear the heat of feng and huo.For those with blood deficiency in Jueyin,Angelica sinensis and Rehmannia are often added;for those with incontinence of Jueyin,ebony and red peony are added.For those who have wet blood in Jueyin,papaya is often used for compatibility,and for those with incontinence of Jueyin which block the opening of taiyang,asarum is often used to activate yin-Qi.ConclusionProfessor Du Shaohui mainly applied xin jia fu zi tang to the treatment of the"incompatibility of Yin and Yang" syndrome,and the overall Yin and Yang were in harmony by making the taiyang and shaoyin compatible.Cassia twig,a sovereign drug in xin jia fu zi tang is a medicine that can be "kai" and "he" blindly.For diseases that are nutritive Qi and defensive Qi or du channel disharmony syndrome,or diseased involving Yangming,Taiyin,Shaoyang,and Jueyin Qi,the appropriate compatibility of medicine can solve the corresponding problems,which fully indicates Professor Du Shaohui’s thought of treating rationally.
