| Objective:Based on psychological theories,this study takes elderly patients with lung cancer as the research object and adopts descriptive research methods,aiming to understand the current situation of family resilience,disease perception,mental resilience and spiritual health of elderly patients with lung cancer,and explore the influencing factors of spiritual health of elderly patients with lung cancer,in order to provide reference for the research on spiritual health of cancer patients in China.Methods:A cross-sectional study in descriptive research was used.A total of 266 questionnaires were sent out to elderly lung cancer patients over 60 years old who were hospitalized in two Grade A hospitals of Weihai City from November 2019 to July 2020.255 valid questionnaires were collected with effective recovery rate of 95.9%.The research tools included general demographic data,simplified Chinese version of Family Resilience Rating Scale(FRAS-C),simplified Chinese version of the Disease Perception Questionnaire(BIPQ),Chinese version of the 10-item Resilience Scale(CD-RISC10),and Chinese version of the Assessment of Chronic Treatment Function--Spiritual Health Scale-12(FACIT-SP-12).The data were analyzed by SPSS 26.0 statistical software.Results:(1)Aged general demographic characteristics in patients with lung cancer: in this study,ranging in age from 60 to 65 years old,male,primary school the following cultural degree,have a spouse,live in towns,retirement,family income levels in 1000 ~ 3000 yuan,the medical insurance payment for the local health care,disease stage for three phase and the following,course for two years,to take comprehensive treatment of lung cancer patients showed more.(2)In this study,the total score of family resilience of middle-aged and elderly patients with lung cancer was 84.09±8.30.There were differences in family resilience scores of elderly patients with lung cancer in occupation and monthly family income,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The total score of disease perception in middle-aged and elderly lung cancer patients in this study was 41.60±6.05 points.There were differences in disease perception among elderly patients with lung cancer in different educational level,marital status,residence,occupation,monthly family income,payment method of medical expenses,disease stage and years of diagnosis,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)The total score of mental toughness of middle-aged and elderly patients with lung cancer in this study was 22.05±3.79.There were differences in mental toughness of elderly patients with lung cancer in education level,residence,occupation,and payment method of medical expenses,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)The mental health score of middle-aged and elderly patients with lung cancer in this study was 28.11±4.65 points.There were differences in the spiritual health of elderly patients with lung cancer in education level,place of residence,occupation and payment method of medical expenses,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(6)Correlation analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between family resilience and disease perception in elderly patients with lung cancer(P <0.01,r=-0.478).There was a positive correlation between family resilience and mental toughness in elderly patients with lung cancer(P<0.01,r=0.615).There was a positive correlation between family resilience and spiritual health of elderly lung cancer patients(P <0.01,r=0.625).There was a negative correlation between disease perception and mental toughness in elderly patients with lung cancer(P <0.01,r=-0.699).There was a negative correlation between disease perception and spiritual health in elderly patients with lung cancer(P <0.01,r=-0.765).There was a positive correlation between mental toughness and spiritual health in elderly patients with lung cancer(P <0.01,r=0.790).(7)The results of multiple linear regression showed that the education level,family resilience,disease perception and mental toughness were the main predictors of spiritual health of elderly lung cancer patients,which could jointly explain 64.5% of the variation in spiritual health.Conclusions:(1)The disease perception and spiritual health of the elderly patients with lung cancer were at a medium level,and the family resilience and mental toughness of the patients were generally not ideal.(2)In terms of social demographic characteristics,elderly lung cancer patients with junior high school education or above,living in urban areas,enjoying local medical insurance and retired have relatively good spiritual health.(3)There was a significant positive correlation between family resilience,mental resilience and spiritual health in elderly patients with lung cancer;There was a negative correlation with disease perception.(4)Family resilience,disease perception and mental resilience are the main factors affecting spiritual health of elderly patients with lung cancer. |
