| Objective: To explore the differences in clinical outcomes between acupuncture combined with exercise therapy and acupuncture alone for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,so as to provide a treatment with good results, stable long-term outcomes and strong promotion, and to provide clinical new treatment ideas for future clinical work. Methods: Among all patients with Knee osteoarthritis who met the diagnostic criteria at our institution,72 cases were collected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and randomly divided into treatment group(acupuncture paired exercise group 36 cases)and control group(acupuncture group 36 cases). The same acupoints were chosen for both groups: Dubi,Neixiyan,Xiyangguan,Ququan,Liangqiu,Xuehai,Yinlingquan,Yanglingquan,Heding and Xiqian. The treatment group increased walking and squatting training exercises compared with the acupuncture group. Two groups were treated with 1session per day and 5 sessions as 1 session with an interval of 2 days off for a total of 3sessions of treatment.Data on VAS score,WOMAC score and Lysholm knee score collected before treatment, after treatment and at follow-up were statistically analyzed using spss24.0.Results:1.There were no significant differences in VAS score,WOMAC score and Lysholm knee score between the two groups in terms of gender, age and pre-treatment VAS score(P > 0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.The VAS score,WOMAC score, and Lysholm knee score of the two groups before and after treatment and at follow-up were compared within and between groups, and the results showed that both groups had an effect in the treatment of this disease(P < 0.05).3.Comparison of the efficacy rates: 91.42% in the treatment group and 88.57% in the control group after treatment;85.71% in the treatment group and 80.00% in the control group at follow-up,which indicated that both methods were effective for the treatment of knee oste OArthritis and that the treatment group had a more significant efficacy. Conclusion:Both acupuncture combined with exercise therapy and acupuncture alone had better short-and long-term effects in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, but the effect of acupuncture combined with exercise was more obvious.Acupuncture combined with exercise therapy is novel, easy to operate, and easy to form a standardized clinical treatment scheme, which is worth promoting. |
