Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To observe the difference in clinical efficacy between hegu acupuncture combined with herbal cake-separated moxibustion and the routine acupuncture for treating external humeral epicondylitis,to provide a new method for the clinical treatment of this disease.Methods:Patients with this disease will include 60 cases in line with the standard,according to the group by a random number table,30 cases were treated with hegu acupuncture combined with herbal cake-separated moxibustion as the treatment group;The other 30 patients were given routine acupuncture treatment as the control group.Two groups were treated once every other day for 2 weeks.Before treatment,after the first treatment and after treatment,the patients in the two groups respectively filled in the simplified Mc Gill Pain Questionnaire and Mayo Elbow joint function score scale(MPES),statistical scores and comparative analysis of the efficacy differences between the two groups.Results:1.The treatment group Mc Gill score after the first treatment than before treatment significantly improved,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in Mc Gill score of the control group before and after the first treatment(P>0.05);Comparison of before and after the treatment for the first time two groups of MPES score were not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.After treatment,the Mc Gill score and MPES score of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment,and the difference had statistical significant(P<0.05);After treatment,the Mc Gill score and MPES score group were compared,the Mc Gill score and MPES score were better in the treatment group than in the control group,and the difference had statistical significant(P<0.05).3.The total efficacy was 93.33% in the treatment group and 80% in the control group,and the difference had statistical significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both therapies can obviously relieve pain and improve elbow joint function.Hegu acupuncture combined with cake-separated moxibustion has better curative effect,faster onset time and more obvious immediate analgesic effect in relieving pain.
