The Clinical Observation Of Electro-acupuncture At Baliao Acupoint In Treating Urinary Incontinence After Stroke

ObjectiveIn this research,A randomized controlled clinical trial was used to observe the clinical efficacy of electro-acupuncture at Baliao acupoint in treating urinary incontinence after post-stroke,and to compare whether the effect of routine acupuncture group was significantly different,evaluating the clinical efficacy of electro-acupuncture at Baliao acupoint for urinary incontinence after stroke.Hope to provide an effective and safe method for the treatment of patients with urinary incontinence after stroke,and to provide certain clinical practice guidance and evidence-based medicine.MethodsA total of 60 patients with urinary incontinence after stroke who were combined with inclusion and exclusion criteria and were enrolled in the acupuncture ward of the Guangdong Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from May 2019 to January 2020 were selected.the patients were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases).Patients in the control group were treated with conventional acupuncture,choosing the acupoints:Zhongji,Pangguangshu,Shenshu,and Sanyinjiao.Based on the control group,the treatment group added electroacupuncture at Baliao acupoint.The patients in the group were treated 6 times a week.After 4 weeks of treatment,the efficacy was observed,and the degree of urinary incontinence and clinical symptom scores between the two groups after treatment were compared.To explore the clinical application value for the treatment of urinary incontinence after stroke.ResultAfter 4 weeks of treatment,the degree of urinary incontinence and clinical symptom scores in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,there was statistical significance differences compared with before treatment(P<0.05).It suggested that both groups can effectively treat urinary incontinence after stroke.The difference of the degree of urinary incontinence and clinical symptom scores between two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).At the same time,from the comparative analysis of clinical efficacy results,the total effective rates of the treatment group of the degree of urinary incontinence and clinical symptom scores were 90.0%and 83.3%,and those of the control group were 76.7%and 73.3%,the difference of which was statistically significant(P<0.05).It suggested that compared with the routine acupuncture group,the effect of electroacupuncture at Baliao points is more obvious.ConclusionElectro-acupuncture at Baliao acupoint has a clear clinical effect in treating urinary incontinence after stroke,and it is more effective than purely using conventional acupuncture.And it is a worthy and safe promotion in the treatment of patients with post-stroke urinary incontinence.
