Clinical Effect Of Professor Zhang’s Flying Needling Therapy For The Treatment Of Per Imenopausal Somatoform Pain Disorder

This paper mainly carries on the observation from the literature and the clinical research aspect for the clinic effect of Zhang’s Flying Needling therapy on relieving the pain and improving psychological adjustment of somatoform pain disorder in peri menopausal women,then evaluate and summarize the clinic effect objectively.Currently,western medicine on the somatoform pain disorder in perimenopausal women are treated with oral medicine and psychotherapy which have a definite therapeutic on reducing pain symptoms and decreasing emotions of depression and anxiety.In the meantime there are many other effective methods with less side effects to treat this kind of disease,for instance,traditional filiform needling,fu’s subcutaneous needling,flying needling and so on.Among these therapies,the research about analgesia by flying needling is not much,among which treating somatoform pain disorder in perimenopausal women by flying needling therapy is much less.ObjectiveTo observe instant effect and long-term therapeutic effect on relieving the pain symptom and long-term adjustment on improving emotions of depressions and anxiety by Zhang’s Flying Needling therapy treating somatoform pain disorder in perimenopausal women.And to provide a simple,painless,safe and economical effective method to treat somatoform pain disorder in perimenopausal women.MethodsAccording to diagnostic codes and,we shall select the patients consistent with standards in hospital room of Zhongshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and Baoan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in the periods of March,2019 to Januarary,2020.In accordance with the principle of randomized controlled,we divide the patients into two groups:treatment group and control group,and in each group there were 30 patients.We applied Zhang’s Flying Needling Therapy on patients in treatment group,and we chose Baihui Point(GV 20),which is one of the governor vessel acupoints,to mobilize qi of all meridians;Sishencong Points(EX-HN 1),which are four extra points,to tranquilize mind;Shenmen Point(HT 7),the Shu-stream Point and Yuan-source Point of Heart Meridian of Hand-Shaoyin;Pishu(BL 20),the back-shu point of spleen,which is on bladder meridian,to strengthen the capability of transformation for water and grain;Shenshu(BL 23),the back-shu point of kidney,which is also on Bladder Meridian of Foot-Taiyang,to reinforce the kidney yang and resist exogenous evil and protect the body.In the meanwhile,we also dialectically select other acpoints according to different location of pain and other symptoms.Through a series of unique operating methods such as Flying finger message to calm spirit,Flying needle to insert,Flying needle to be in and out,Flying needle to emerge the Meridian qi,Flying needle to obtain supplementation or draining,Flying to withdraw needle,etc and reach to a balance of Yin and Yang,an effect of governing spirit while relieving the pain,and eventually achieve curative satisfactory.And we applied traditional filiform needling therapy on patients in control group,we chose the same acupoint as treatment group.And retaining the needles for 30 minutes after arrival of qi.Each group were treated 2 times per week,and each course of treatment lasted 2 weeks,and the whole therapeutic schedule finished after 3 continuous courses of treatment.Each patient’s pain degree was evaluated by a medical professional using numeric rating scales(NRS)before the treatment,after each course and 12 weeks after the whole treatment;Each patient’s psychological states were evaluated by a medical professional using Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)before the treatment,after 3 courses of treatment and 12 weeks after the whole treatment.We used SPSS17.0 of statistical software for statistical analysis to observe the situations and improvement of the patients.Results1.Compare NRS of patients in therapeutic group before the treatment and after 3 courses treatment P<0.05),Compare NRS of patients in control group before the treatment and after 3 courses treatment P<0.05),it shows that both groups have definite analgesic effect.2.At the end of the first course,improvement of the NRS were compared between two groups(P<0.05),and it shows that analgesic effect of the therapeutic group is better than control group.3.At the end of the second course,improvement of the NRS were compared between two groups(P<0.05),and it shows that analgesic effect of the therapeutic group is better than control group.4.At the end of the third course,improvement of the NRS were compared between two groups(P<0.05),and it shows that analgesic effect of the therapeutic group is better than control group.5.In the interview 3 months after the treatment,improvement of the NRS were compared between two groups(P<0.05),and it shows that long-term analgesic effect of the therapeutic group is better than control group.6.Compare psychological assessment(HAMA and HAMD)of patients in therapeutic group before the treatment and after 3 courses treatment P<0.05),and compare psychological assessment(HAMA and HAMD)of patients in control group before the treatment and after 3 courses treatment P<0.05),it shows that both groups can improve the anxiety and depression status.7.At the end of the third course,improvement of the psychological assessment were compared between two groups(P>0.05),and it shows that effect of regulating negative emotions does not vary much between two groups.8.In the interview 3 months after the treatment,improvement of the psychological assessment(HAMA and HAMD)compared between two groups(P<0.05),and it shows that long-term psychological adjustment effect of the therapeutic group is better than control group.ConclusionBoth Zhang’ s Flying Needling Therapy and traditional filiform needling therapy can improve symptoms and signs of perimenopausal women who suffer from somatoform pain disorder.And both therapies have curative effect on relieving these patients’ pain.However,the pain relief started earlier and lasted longer in patients treated by Zhang’s Flying Needling Therapy.Compared with traditional filiform needling therapy,Zhang’s Flying Needling Therapy is not only more convenient but also takes less time,and the patients would suffer less,which made Zhang’s Flying Needling Therapy more acceptable.Therefore it is worth to generalize and apply as clinical treatment method.
