Study On TCM Syndrome Elements Of Vascular Cognitive Impairment Based On Factor And Logistic Analysis

Objective: Through Factor Analysis and Logistic Analysis of TCM symptoms and syndrome elements in patients with Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment and Vascular Dementia,we found the characteristics of syndrome elements in two types of Vascular Cognitive Impairment.Methods: 722 respondents were divided into three groups: Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment,Vascular Dementia and No Cognitive Impairment.The data and information of the three groups were statistically processed: 1.Factor Analysis was used to deal with the symptoms of different groups of people,and the main diseases’ characters and location of two types of Vascular Cognitive Impairment were found;2.Logistic Analysis was used to compare the probability of the occurrence of the same syndrome element in different cognitive groups,and it was found that the two types of Vascular Cognitive Impairment groups had more common syndrome elements than No Cognitive Impairment group.Research findings:1.the results of Factor analysis: the main syndromes of Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment and Vascular Dementia are blood stasis,Qi deficiency,Yin deficiency,fire and heat;Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment contacts the liver most closely,and Vascular Dementia contacts the heart and kidney most closely.the syndromes of No Cognitive Impairment are blood stasis,heat,Qi depression,Qi deficiency,blood deficiency,Yin deficiency;No Cognitive Impairment contacts the liver most closely.2.Logistic analysis results showed that the OR value of blood stasis between No Cognitive Impairment and Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment was less than 1 with Qideficiency as the reference;the OR value of Qi deficiency,Yin deficiency and Fire-heat between No Cognitive Impairment and Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment was more than 1 with Qi deficiency as the reference;the OR value of blood stasis,Qi deficiency,Yin deficiency between No Cognitive Impairment and Vascular Dementia was less than1 with Fire-heat as the reference;the OR value of Fire-heat between No Cognitive Impairment and Vascular Dementia was more than 1 with blood stasis as the reference;the OR value between Vascular Dementia and Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment is no statistical significance since P > 0.05.Conclusion:1.the main syndromes of Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment and Vascular Dementia are blood stasis,Qi deficiency,Yin deficiency,fire and heat.2.Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment contacts the liver most closely,and Vascular Dementia contacts the heart and kidney most closely.3.Compared with in No Cognitive Impairment,blood stasis is more common in Vascular Mild Cognitive Impairment,and blood stasis,Qi deficiency,Yin deficiency are more common in Vascular Dementia.
