Objective: To investigate the relationship between vascular mild cognitive impairment(VaMCI)and magnetic resonance imaging features of the head. Methods: 40 cases of VaMCI patients admitted to the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from January 2017 to December 2017 were selected as VaMCI group and 40 cases of physical examination in our hospital as control group. All patients were treated with the Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),Montreal Cognitive Assessment(Mo CA),Revised Hastgawa Dementia Scale(HDS-R),and Activity of Daily Living scale(ADL).The general data were statistically analyzed in both groups and the MRI examination was improved. The number of lacunar infarct lesions, white matter lesions, and total cortical atrophy were assessed according to the MRI multiple sequence test results.Results:(1)The ratio of hypertension and diabetes in VaMCI group was higher than that in control group, with statistical significance(P = 0.011,P = 0.019).There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of age, gender, education duration, smoking history,(2)The scores of MMSE,Mo CA and HDS-R in VaMCI group were significantly lower than those in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.001,P <0.001,P <0.001).The score of VAMCI group invisuospatialand executive, naming, attention, language, abstraction and delayed memory were lower than those in control group(P <0.001,P = 0.01,P <0.001,P <0.001,P <0.001,P <0.001).There was no significant difference in orientation force(P>0.05).(3)The total number of subcortical lacunar infarcts in the VaMCI group was more than that of the control group(P = 0.001).The number of lacunar infarcts in the thalamic, globuspallidus and subcortical white matter regions was significantly more than that in the control group,The difference was statistically significant(P = 0.049;P = 0.023;P <0.001).There was no significant difference in the number of lesions in the putamen and caudate nucleus between the two groups(P> 0.05).(4)In terms of white matter lesions, the scores of bilateral frontal lobe, bilateral top occipital lobe and bilateral temporal lobe white matter lesions in VaMCI group were significantly higher than those in control group(P = 0.001;P = 0.001;P =0.016).(5)There was no significant difference between the two groups in cortical atrophy(P> 0.05).There was no significant difference in WML score between bilateral basal ganglia and subglottic(P> 0.05).(6)After adjusting for age, sex, education level, and vascular factors, multivariate analysis showed that the number of lacunar infarct lesions in the subcortical white matter was an independent risk factor for VaMCI[OR=1.60(95%CI:1.17 to 2.19),P=0.003<0.05].Conclusion: VaMCI is associated with hypertension and diabetes.VaMCI cognitive function manifested as visualspaceand executiveability, naming, attention, language, abstraction and delayed memory impairment. The number of subcortical white matter lacunar infarcts was an independent risk factor for VaMCI...
