Objective To observe the effect of Qingrelishi Decoction on prevention of recurrence of the urinary tract stones;and to lay the foundation for further study of traditional Chinese medicine prevention of urinary stones. Methods 1.During October 2015 and July 2016 in Anji Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital,70 cases of patients with recurrence of the urinary tract stones after removing urinary calculus, extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy or calculus removed by operation were selected, who were then divided into the damp heat constitution group and non-damp heat constitution based on measuring scale of constitution. After a period of 2 months of treatment with Qingrelishi Decoction,70 cases entered the final analysis of the quantity of crystals in urine, the structure of crystals in urine, urine PH value, and the ratio of urine uric acid to creatinine.2.Statistical analysis acquires SPSS 17.0 statistical analysis software. All the statistical tests acquire two sided test, providing statistics and exact probability P value.P value less than or equal to 0.05 will be considered significant.Measurement data from different treatment groups will acquire mean ± standard deviation into statistical description, acquiring t test, paired t test.Qualitative data acquires Chi-square test.Ranked data acquires rank sum test. Results 1.70 cases recruited in our study were divided into treatment group of damp heat constitution and treatment group of non-damp heat constitution. At the end,61 patients finished the study. There are 40 cases of damp heat constitution and 21 cases of non-damp heat constitution.2.Conclusion of comparability analysis:the age, urine PH value, the ratio of urine uric acid to creatinine in two groups with no significant difference(P>0.05).3.Conclusion of the effects analysis:3.1 Urine PH value:the urine PH value of the treatment group of damp heat constitution after treating showed a decreasing trend, compared to baseline data, with a significant difference(P<0.05).The urine PH value of the treatment group of non-damp heat constitution after treating did not show difference compared to baseline data(P<0.05).The result suggested that Qingrelishi Decoction decrease the urine PH value of damp heat constitution group.3.2 The ratio of urine uric acid to creatinine:There is no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)of the ratio of urine uric acid to creatinine before and after the treatment both in the treatment group of damp heat constitution and treatment group of non-damp heat constitution, which indicated that this decoction did not play a role in reducing uric acid of urine.3.3 The quantity of crystals and the structure of crystals in urine:The quantity of crystals in urine decreased from 22 to 17 after treatment in damp heat constitution group while from 14 to 11 after treatment in non damp heat constitution group. The is no significant difference between these two group, which demonstrated that this decoction can promote lithecbole both in the treatment group of damp heat constitution and treatment group of non-damp heat constitution. The number of patient who show the change of structure of crystals in urine is 12 in the treatment group of damp heat constitution while 4 in the treatment group of non-damp heat constitution. There is significant difference between these two groups, which demonstrated that this decoction was more efficient in the treatment of damp heat constitution group. Conclusion Looking at the entire clinical trial,Qingrelishi Decoction can reduce the urine PH value and change the structure of crystals in urine in the treatment group of damp heat constitution, which indicates a prevention effect and a bright prospect of using Qingrelishi Decoction in preventing urinary tract stones in patients with damp heat constitution.
