| Background: Men who have sex with men(MSM)have become an important highrisk group of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)infection in China, and are the focus of HIV epidemic prevention and control. The effectiveness of pre-exposure prophylaxis(PrEP)for HIV prevention in different populations and regions has been confirmed, but compliance is closely related to the preventive effect of PrEP.Relying on mobile phones and other technological means can effectively improve the medication compliance of patients with diabetes and other diseases. However,at present,it is not clear whether the intervention methods supported by technology supported by mobile phones are effective for PrEP medication compliance of MSM population.Object: 1.To clarify through RCT research whether the intervention methods supported by technology supported by mobile phones can improve MSM medication compliance.2.Grasp the influencing factors of MSM medication compliance.3.To clarify the acceptability of intervention methods supported by technology supported by mobile phones. Methods: From September 2019 to October 2020,recruited in the Real World Oral PrEP(CROPrEP)program in China at least 18 years old, selfreported unprotected anal sex with men in the past 3 months,no HIV test positive Results The MSM people who had informed consent and were participating in CROPrEP collected the questionnaire through the self-filled electronic questionnaire collection software "Gold Data".The content of the questionnaire included sociodemography, sexual behavior, and new drug use.The baseline HIV-negative MSM population was randomly divided into the information intervention group and the control group, and followed up every 3 months. The follow-up questionnaire further investigated the medication compliance of the past 3 months.Frequency and percentage are used to describe the social demographics, sexual behavior characteristics, medication compliance, acceptance of intervention measures, etc.of MSM population.GEE model analyzes the intervention effects of intervention measures. Results: A total of 353 subjects were included in this study.A total of 7 subjects were dropped out due to the subjects’ reluctance to receive intervention information and could not be followed up on time.Finally,346 subjects(154 in the intervention group and 192 in the control group))were included in the result analysis.Age distribution:96 people under 28 years old,250 people ≥ 28 years old;Nationality: 294 people from Han nationality,52 people from other nationalities;Education: 31 people below high school, and 315 people above high school. In the baseline data, the intervention group and the control group were compared in 7 aspects including ethnicity, education background, average monthly income, psychological gender, sexual orientation, sex role, age for first sex,and whether they were infected with STDs in the past six months. There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Information push intervention is not an independent influencing factor that affects medication compliance(a OR=0.90,95%CI=0.67-1.21,P=0.480),sex role is "0"(a OR=1.46,95%CI=1.01-2.10,P =0.044)and oral sex only(a OR=2.21,95%CI=1.19-4.10,P=0.012)are independent factors affecting medication compliance.A total of 87.5%of the subjects thought it was acceptable and positive to receive APP SMS reminders during medication.A total of 53.1% of the subjects believed that the main reason for their adherence to medication was "they think that it is very important to adhere to medication."Conclusion: 1.Compared with ordinary medication reminders, pushing intervention information based on the information-motivation-behavioral skills model through the mobile APP has not achieved the expected effect of improving PrEP medication compliance, but this method is still acceptable For a highly effective method, future research should optimize the information plan and select a reasonable information push frequency to maximize the effect of intervention.2.When designing intervention information,a variety of methods should be adopted to help drug users to establish a "consistency in taking medication is very important",not just a single method... |
