In the era of "global risk society",human beings are faced with various types of risks.In a sense,the crisis events in the world in the past decade have gradually proved the authenticity of the theory of "risk society",and everyone in the risk society can not stay away from it.Taking the epidemic as an example,the natural hazards are among the natural risks.In addition to SARS virus outbreak,mad cow disease outbreak and other world-wide major emergencies,which have a huge impact on our health and daily life,"risk source" has covered such accidents and disasters in recent years,natural disasters,public health events,social security events and so on.In December 2019,the outbreak of New Coronavirus pneumonia was first launched in Wuhan.The related epidemic report has aroused great concern in the public opinion field.In the face of such public health emergencies,doctors as the main force of the first-line anti epidemic,their related reports have also received a lot of public attention.In the face of novel coronavirus pneumonia,people’s daily is one of the mainstream media in China.It takes an important role in providing real and objective information and promoting social harmony.The presentation of doctors’ image is a very important part of their reporting task.To explore how the media presents the media image of doctors in public health emergencies can better play a guiding role,alleviate the contradiction between doctors and patients,and promote the healthy development of medical cause.This study takes the image of doctors in COVID-19 hotspots as the research object.Through quantitative analysis of the content of the relevant reports,combined with the research on the framework of Entenma and Liu Lanlan,it is the focus of this study to explore the characteristics of the construction of the doctor’s media image.This paper is divided into four chapters.In the first chapter,the reason of the topic selection is explained,and the domestic related literature is analyzed.At the same time,the research subject and research methods of this paper are explained.The second chapter describes the particularity of the research object,summarizes the particularity of public health emergencies and the changes of the media image of traditional Chinese medicine in recent years by combing the literature and related reports in recent years.The third chapter is the focus of this study.Taking people’s daily as the research object,encoding and statistical analysis from three dimensions: reporting attribute dimensions,demographic characteristics of doctors,and presentation characteristics of doctors,summarizes the characteristics of doctors presenting in the media during the COVID-19 period.Combined with Liu Lanlan’s general framework theory,this paper summarizes and analyzes the four emotional frames used in COVID-19’s media image report,and summarizes the quality characteristics of doctors presented in this COVID-19 period.In the last chapter,the author analyzes the characteristics of the doctor’s media image presented in the people’s daily during the period of COVID-19,analyzes the influencing factors behind the media image of the doctor,and combines with the construction of the doctor’s image in the public health event in the people’s daily,and puts forward suggestions and strategies on how to build a doctor’s image more reasonably for other official mainstream media.
