Media played important role in the Medical Reform(MR). It reflects the developing process of MR, shoulders its duty, leads the developing trend of patient-doctor relationship and push the further development of MR.This study takes the reports of doctor-patient relationship from 2013 to 2015 in the People's Daily as the analysis objects and analyze the changes of People's Daily after the implementation of the policy of reformation of the urban public hospital, and tries to take the time when China promotes new reformation of the urban public hospital (4 pilot provinces in China) in 2015 as the watershed, to make analysis of the limitation and one-sidedness of the reports about doctor-patient relation before the new medical reform; the progress of media reports about doctor-patient relation after medical reform, as well as various reasons, the values of comprehensive reports and good methods inspiring the media professional.According to the research, the report published after the MR owns 5 features compared with ones pubished before MR, respectively as MR plitics reports appeared; the reports organized by People's Daily press; critical reports decreased; reports in different space of newspaper inceased.The reasons led to these change are, firstly, the MR policy; secondly,media think by itself; thirdly, regarding new media as communicating tool for patient-doctor; fourthly, conventioneer's opinion became the reporting hot spots.To improve the reports on patient-doctor relation, media should think furtherly; doctors and nurses should uplift the ability to communicate with journalists; government sectors and mainstream media organized the reporting activities together and patients should learn as more medical knowledge as possible.
